Totally weird period or pregnancy bleeding?! Opinions??

I know I can't get a for sure answer, but opinions help (or just aid my curiousity.. :p). I keep getting negatives on tests but I have been having all the symptoms (not normal for me). Doc told me it was my period coming. I started spotting (usually starts out heavy) and it never got heavier! Been spotting very light red 'n brown for 7 almost 8 days now! (my periods usually last 3-4 days) No cramps,just soo queezy(vomited once),dizzy,light headed, bloated,sore enlarged boobs, peeing more than usual,mega sleepy. All of which I have never felt before! Is my Doc right? Just a weird period? Somewhere between yesterday n the next few days would be my missed period (if this isnt my period). Too early to tell on a urine test? Bah, going crazy! Any ideas...?
