This is strange....

I usually have a 26 day cycle. I ovulated on 9/23 and had unprotected sex twice that day. My period was due to start on October 7th and didn't come until 11:30 pm on October 8th. I tested 2 times on October 8th in the afternoon and they were both negative. My periods are usually only 4 days long, but this time I am on day 6 with a switch off between spotting, heavy, and light flow. It is really strange and never happened to me before. Anyone have any ideas on what is going on?
