Well, we are definitely headed for IVF now. I just got a call from the specialist today saying there was no point doing any more clomid cycles as we are very unlikely to get pregnant with my husbands low sperm count. This means we will now go onto the IVF waiting list. We don't want to pay for it so may have to wait a few months longer than if we went privately but it is a huge amount of money so definitely need to avoid paying if we can! So now I am waiting for another fertility specialist appointment where I assume they will talk about what is involved and hopefully find out when that will happen. The sooner the better I think! Could be a year though. I really have no idea!

I was asked about pain with ovulation etc and they were wondering about endometriosis. I don't think endometriosis causes any problems with IVF? So might not be a concern for us.

2frsty - That is great that you made sooo many friends on that other thread! I love having people to go through this with!! My sis-n-law is also trying and just had a miscarriage yesterday =( My BFF is 17 weeks pregnant so everyone has baby fever around me lol! Ask for how I'm feeling, I am actually going to call the Dr in the morning because my stomach is swollen even bigger and I am hurting even with my pain meds =( I don't think that's suppose to happen but I will see! I had my progesterone taken today so I will get my results tomorrow!! So happy your hubby is getting a four day weekend!

Shelob - Thank you so much sweetie I am so glad I caught it early too!! It was kinda scary and still is! I can't wait to be out of the woods completely!!I'm very excited for your sister's baby as well!! You will have a new little nephew or niece!!

Firsttimemommy30 - I too got my progesterone taken today!! I see you said yours was good so did it say you ovulated? I will get my results tomorrow or actually today because it'sw after midnight here in Alabama!

Bpdoyle - I have been having lots of vivid dreams too! Maybe thats a good sign!

OH MY GOSH Ya'll!!!! Ok so I went to the Dr for a follow up with my ovarian hyperstimulation and they did an ultrasound! When my Dr came into the room she was smiling really big and I was like "OMG what is it?" lol and she said I'm pretty sure you're in the early stages of pregnancy!!!!!! I was SHOCKED!!! Then she says and quite possible with multiples!!!!! What in the world is going!! So my progesterone was 23 and it only has to be a 10 to have ovulated and a 15 for a healthy pregnancy!! She also said that my endomitrium was extremely think, like thicker than if I were about to start. Thick like somethings about to happen like a baby to implant!!! She even consulted with another Dr!!Then she said some stuff about more than one follicle idk I was soooo out of it by then!!!So, we took my HCG and I will get the results back tomorrow and then she scheduled a every 48 hour test to see if it doubles!!!! I am in shock right now!!! What do yall think!?!?

I didn't get pregnant in January so my doc is letting me try for the 4th time on Clomid! My levels went up more at 21.7 in jan and will find out on my day 21 labs on the 28th. I'm also now on 150mm of Clomid. Hoping this will be it since I really don't want to see a specialist next month.
Today is my 11th day in my cycle and will be ovulating on Sunday!!

im onto my 7th cycle of clomid this month. Currently on 250mg again this month as it worked in november on 200mg but resulted in a chemical pregnancy and the same dose in december didnt work. January i was on 250mg and i got pregnant but had an early miscarriage .

Currently im CD14 and today i have high fertility on CB advanced digital but the 2 cycles where i did ovulate i didnt ovulate till day 18-20. Im a little concerned that my body is resistant to the clomid as ive had to take such high doses and the same dose 2 months in a row doesnt work the second month. December cycle (2nd 200mg dose) i only got high fertility and never got a peak and my day21 prog was poor. Also with my recent miscarriage i also had my prog tested when i had bhcg to confirm pregnancy and it had dropped from 67 at day 21 to 1.7 at day 31. So ill be using prog supps when i have confirmed ovulation in case that was the reason for my losses :(
Im meeting with my dr tomorrow and im going to ask for the trigger shot if i dont ov on my own and also to have an ultrasound to check follicle size.

shelob - sorry about the news :( the IVF waiting list could take a year?? boooo. so you can of course continue trying, and of course if you got lucky that'd be great! i hope you don't have endometriosis, i'd mention it to the IVF doc cuz sometimes they do worry about it, but i believe the issues are so much less common.

stacey - sorry about your SIL!! how far was she? wow, awesome progesterone result! what DPO is that at?? let us know the hcg results!! what a crazy cycle for you!!! :)

bella - i posted back to you in the november board, you answered my question, which was where is your progesterone at, maybe that's why the losses, which i'm very sorry for :(

AFM, 7/8DPO. here starts the crazy lady tmi rant :) bwahaha! so crazy whirlwind day for me. vivid dreams then sleeplessness this AM. woke up with super faint brownish tinge on TP, checked CM, when pooled looked grayish/brownish. as the day went on definitely a brownish tinge. tonight i checked CM and a medium brown color and was creamy. i've NEVER had spotting in the middle of the LP, KMFX'd it's implantation bleeding!!! the odds of IB are like 15-33% from what i find. bbs have been killing me last couple days, including nipple sensitivity that's still here, and even sudden aches and up into the armpits which is new. so when would a urine test be positive? research told me this weekend. i've never had a BFP, so that would make me so happy if i finally did! it'd suck so bad if i lost it, but in a positive sense at least i knew i was finally able to achieve a BFP. my cheapie pregnancy tests came today, so of course i POAS and of course was negative, not surprised, but couldn't help myself :) and my progesterone came back from yesterday, was at 7 (3.3-25.6), was at 3.2 my other cycle, but not as high as the doc would like. so hoping all these symptoms mean something more since the progesterone isn't that high. (period came at 10 or 11DPO the cycle i had the 3.2). if i am pregnant i gotta get a progesterone check ASAP and may need supplements. if i don't get pregnant the plan will be to do either a higher dose of clomid (50mg) next cycle or try a different drug, i forget the name.

Wow stacey353!!!!! I hope you are pregnant but I sure hope its not too many babies. I would hate to have to deal with the ethical dilemmas that would cause. I look forward to hearing your HcG result!!!

Firsttimemommey30 yep, could be a year. If I want to pay 20-30,000 then I could have it sooner, but that is a lot of money I would rather spend on a baby once born!

bella83 sorry to hear about the pregnancy losses :( One was traumatic enough. I hope the doctors appointment tomorrow goes well!

My sister's baby still hasn't come. Now 3 days late. I was banking on it coming tomorrow so I hope it does! Looking forward to seeing it. She doesn't know if it is a boy or girl either so very exciting!!!

shelob - sorry you'd have to wait a year, but i think i would wait a year rather than spend 20-30k, unless you're older? hope your sister's baby comes tomorrow :)

AFM, 8/9 DPO today. looks like my CM is very light brown again today, so i'm guessing it's tapering off. hoping that means in the next couple days a BFP!! tested tonight and was a BFN, which isn't surprising.
