My husband't count was 9 million so less than half what they like to see. Motility was less than 40%. We have talked about IVF with our specialist. After two more months we will qualify for two fully funded cycles. If those aren't successful then ir is $20-30,000 for another one. I think we would do that rather than adopt at this point.

Sorry about AF :( I take clomid starting CD2.

2frsty I am so sorry about mean ole af!! Don't worry sweetie it will happen I jusy know it!!!!

SHELOB I also ovulated on cycle day 15! I do have pcos so I'm not positive Bc opine give false positive to me Bc I have LH surges all the time. But according to the EWCM that was only there on the 15th day i think that's right??

I have beennin excrutiating pain since CD 15 in my ovaires is that weird. I am 2dpo and really sick in the bed with neaseaâ?¦headachesâ?¦and painful.ovary pains with a heating pad. Does this sound like a burst cyst or early prey signs?

Signed,
Sickling

shelob - you have O pains for like 3 days?? i just have really horrid pains right at O time, like curl up in a ball and hate life bad. normally I O CD15, but with the clomid looks like I O'd on CD12, maybe early AM CD13. glad you O'd earlier too :) but yeah, totally messes up the BD'ing plan! glad you're on track though. sorry DH's SA isn't as awesome now :( My DH's was done a month ago and overall he was pretty stellar, 81% motility, 57.5 million, but his morphology was 24%. apparently they didn't worry though because numbers are on his side and guess it makes sense to have a lower morph when you kick out that many. i hope he can hold steady until we make a baby!!! our issues have mostly been my health problems, which is what we were hoping for. i hope you don't need IVF, but at least it's an option.

2Frsty - glad you guys were able to conceive :) sorry about the BFN's. :( i hate it when you know you're out but dang AF won't get her butt moving so we can get rolling to our next chance! i took clomid days 3-7 this cycle.

stacey - i only get severe pains at O time, other than that maybe random little nagging cramps. any colds going around at your work?? everyone is getting sick over here!

AFM CD14. I think I O'd CD12 in the evening, or early AM on CD13. I'm hoping we caught the egg! normally I O CD15. We BD'd twice on CD10 (my bday), skipped CD11 (was hungover! lol), did the afternoon CD12, and did early in the AM on CD13. Just did again tonight. FX'd this cycle comes out well!!! i'm so hoping my progesterone tests higher too!!! I want a good 30th bday present :)

Stacey353 I get really bad pains before ovulation when on clomid. The day of ovulation they calm down to mild cramps. If you aren't completely sure you ovulated yet then this could be pre-ovulatory cramping. Sounds exactly like mine! I am too scared to used heat pads because I know too much heat is bad if you are pregnant and I am not sure at what point it is okay. That is a pain about the false positives. I have PCOS but have never had a false positive, just false negatives!! This month I got my first clear positive in many months. Usually I just see a much darker than usual line! Did you get your positive on CD15? If so you would probably have ovulated CD16 but could even be CD17. I get my most EWCM the day before ovulation, or even the day before that.

Firsttimemommy30 that is an amazing sperm result! I wouldn't be worried about the morphology with those numbers either. It is only since my clomid dose went up to 100mg that I have had lots of days of dreadful cramping. This month wasn't as bad as the last two cycles, but it was constant dull pain sharpening when I moved around at all.

Day 1 of was such a blah day! I have to say that periods after having a baby have been so totally screwy for me! I used to cramp horribly for 3 days, bleed moderately for 2 days and then light for 2 and spot the last day-ish. After having my son they've been bonkers, and all over the calendar! My 1st cycle was 31 days, then 28 days on the nose, then this past one was 31 again. One positive is that the cramping is almost gone completely! A few twinges here and there (nothing an 800 mg Ibuprofen can't fix!) But the flow is out of this world (sorry if TMI!)

So I have a question: I know that the earlier you take the Clomid, the earlier you're supposed to ovulate, making O-Day closer to the middle of the month. Last time I took it Day 2-6 but when I had my 1st u/s with my son they found out that I O'd a week later. I was only 11-12 dpo when I got my . Shouldn't taking the Clomid that early have made me O earlier than that? I think I'm gonna take it CD2-6 again and see what happens? Are any of y'all taking Metformin and Evening Primrose Oil in addition? The Metformin is what did it for me last time, I know it! I'd taken Clomid several times before with no luck; the 1st cycle with the Metformin added and BINGO!

On another note: this being on the rag for Valentine's Day is gonna SUCK!! Was really hoping to that day, even though I won't be anywhere near O-Day! Maybe it'll be lighter by then...!

I ovulate on a different cycle day every time on clomid. It has been anywhere from CD15 through to CD19 even though I have taken the clomid on CD2-6 every time. You are expected to ovulate anywhere between 5-12 days after the last tablet. It can be different for every women, and as I have experienced different every cycle!

I haven't taken anything else so don't know anything about those sorry.

@ Shelob--> I am always surprised to hear of women with fertility issues (especially PCOS) who have never heard of Metformin. It's a diabetic medicine that helps to lower your blood sugar. It's been found that women with PCOS have a tendency to process glucose ineffectively, hence why it works for us. It was the best thing that ever happened to me! It helped me to lose weight, regulated my periods, and was the catalyst that allowed me to get pregnant! I recommend it to anyone with PCOS!

AFM: Day #1 on Clomid for me! Had some crazy heartburn (almost to the point of nausea) but other than that I feel great! Hope it works for me this time like last time!

How's everyone else feeling?! Anyone get a yet?

I have the opposite weight issues - have trouble keeping it on! I am a pretty good weight at the moment because I had a bit of an issue a couple of years ago where I was under a lot of stress and I was losing it fast, so since then I have been really careful to eat as much as I possibly can. I have heard of metformin but it wouldn't be of any use in my situation as far as I know. My doctor was rather frustrated when she confirmed PCOS because she said the best treatment was to lose weight - but obviously that wasn't an answer to my issues!

2dpo today. My little sister is due to have her first baby in two days. She got pregnant first try soon after my miscarriage. Fortunately this point in my cycle is pretty good for me emotionally so I hope she has it soon while I can deal with it the best I can.
