did your dr mention increasing the clomid dose for the next cycle? sounds like a higher dose would have given you a stronger ovulation?

i think progesterone should be above 30 at 7dpo on clomid, or maybe thats just here in aust?

There's two reference ranges, I think the other is 20-80? Depends on the test. Can't increase the dose since I make 3-4 eggs on 50mg, too dangerous.

I am no help whatsoever when it comes to progesterone. I've never had trouble with it. I turn into a raging bitch the week before AF shows, and it's always because of progesterone.

AFM: Temp took a nose dive this morning, so I'm sure will show her ugly face today. I think I'm gonna try some different ovulation and pregnancy tests. I've seen shadows and evaps all freakin' month!! Any suggestions?

i use clear blue digital advanced as i never seem to get a positive opk with the strip ones.

My progesterone today is 42 which has take a nose dive from 120 2 days ago. Ive been on progesterone supplements since 5dpo which was 4 days ago so im confused and worried as to why it has dropped so much. Any ideas?

Bella--> I'm not sure! Are you taking prescription progesterone supplements? If so, would adding a natural plant-based progesterone supplement from a vitamin shop help? Like I said, I really don't have much to offer. I'm not sure even what a good progesterone reading is!

AFM: Temp dove down below the coverline, but still no nor any signs of it. I ran to the bathroom a dozen times today feeling "wet" and just positive that AF was finally here, only to find more cm. I wish she'd just show up already so I can start the next cycle of Clomid!

2Frsty - yeah progesterone is not very nice. i just hate that those symptoms are the same as pregnancy ones! boo. sorry about the temp drop :( i haven't seen an evap yet with what i use. i use clear blue digital opk with the solid smiley. and FRER and the wondfo internet cheapies for HPT. i have heard some batches of the IC's can have evaps.

bella83 - that seems very strange, i don't have a good explanation why it would drop like that. have you talked to your doc about it?

AFM, 4DPO. normal progesterone symptoms, the main ones are tender bbs and sensitive nipples. impatiently waiting to start testing early ;)

Well, showed up today, just as I expected. Honestly, it's a relief! I was ready to start the next cycle after so many last cycle. DH and I have an appointment with the fertility specialist on April 14 at 8:00 am and I'm hoping that they don't give me any flack because DS is still so young! Since this will be my 3rd month on 50 mg of Clomid, I'm hoping that they'll be more aggressive next month if we don't conceive.

Ha! Ha! Just kidding, but DS is teething SOOOOO bad right now! He's been wearing me ragged! He's lucky he's so damn cute!!

Had a blood hcg and progesterone level today and hcg is 29 and progesterone is back up to 103! :) my hcg was only 2 2 days ago so I'm thinking my test was screwed up on my last level as that is like x20 increase. I just did a urine preg test which is sensitive to 20mui so today's result must be correct.
Fingers crossed its a sticky bean and we all get our Christmas babies! ! :)

AFM: Started Clomid 50 mg daily again today. We see the fertility specialist on the 14th, so I'm hoping that if it doesn't work this cycle then they'll try something more aggressive. What's the next step after Clomid?

Thanks 2frsty :) my regular dr is away till after easter, I'm not sure when the first scan is? I'll have another blood test tomorrow.
I'm not sure where u are but here in aust we only have clomid on the pbs so if it doesn't work or you get to the max level then the next step is lvf. I'm hoping that this pregnancy sticks as my only option would be ivf which we can't really afford atm or keep trying naturally.
Did u ovulate on 50mg? For me I didn't get any result until I got to 200mg.
