I think same day. They are very strict and according to our case, there is no problem for conceiving naturally. I hope my age and the 3 unsuccesful iuis will convince them that ivf is the only option.

Basia - how are you feeling?

Jackie - do you mind if I ask where you are located? Your use of "y'all" has me curious if you are southern U.S.? :)

AFM - I had a mammogram and ultrasound done at the very beginning of my IVF cycle in May due to my OBGYN finding a suspicious area in my right breast. They both came back clear, but my OBGYN wants a second opinion and is sending me to a breast specialist. Waiting on a call from them today for an appointment. Hoping that all goes well and we should be able to continue on with this cycle.

Going in for my follow up appointment regarding my failed IVF and to see how my OAR results turned out (we didn't do one the first round).

@Basia - the TWW is just absolute torture, I know. When i tested at 6d5dt and it was a negative i was sad when it was negative but knew better. I know you tested early last time around. I never tested again until i got the call from the nurse. I wouldn't change a thing. For me, it was so much better to not know and just say i am pregnant until i get that call. I also wanted that surprise. It was so fun truly not knowing if i was pregnant or not and getting the call saying i was. I think i would have felt kinda disapointed had i tested and then got the call! BUT to each their own. Just hang in there and know that if you test and its not positive, its ok! I do not think i would have gotten a positive until the day of my beta. My $ store test (after my beta) was SO faint i would have seriously thrown it away. Just keep yourself busy and get that blood flowing, its good! Will you be seeing your acupuncturist during the TWW? And as for as the spotting goes...I cannot believe people DONT spot after a retrieval! So much is going on in there! I didnt spot, but was seriously shocked by that!

@keth-Hoping your meds are covered!!!! That would be fantastic news!!!

@jackie - The entire process is exciting so that day be fun for you too!!! It doesn't need to be warm, just not ice cold. I just made sure everything i drank was room temp. I wanted tea but was too nervous about the different teas i could drink so i did a lot of warm water with honey and lemon. I found the ginger lemon was safe so i did that a lot too. I ate soups, and just nothing cold. I mean, i had sandwhiches for most lunches, so i wasn't SUPER strict, but as far as liquids went i was pretty strict about that.

Ladies who are doing IVF, I read this blog called Withgreatexpectation.com. She had one post named: IVF TIPS: the things I wish I'd known. This is where i found the socks and pineapple core tips. Go take a look, she was fun to follow and helped with all my little tips!

Well Today is the day! We get to find out what Baby Schrader is! I will update as soon as i know! Wanna take guesses?! Blue or Pink....what do you think?

BabyPath - hopefully you will get some answers soon. I remember how much it sucked when the first IVF did not work (I had chemical). I was crashed for a long time.

Baby: I live in Ohio about an hour southeast of Cleveland, so not south at all lol. I picked up the y'all when I was in college at Ohio University. It is super close to West Virginia and very much a southern/country way of life. I also teach in a small town and live pretty close to the country (I have farms within a mile of my house.) I find that when I say "you all" it sounds funnier than y'all to me so it's just stuck :)

LS: I'm going with Pink!! Can't wait to find out :)

Jackie - Eeekk…exciting you’ve taken your last pill and are about to start this exciting cycle!!

Baby - I hope you’re able to continue on with this cycle quickly! I hope you get some answers from your RE about your last cycle.

Kethryes - Fingers crossed your medications are covered. Goodness hope they are! I can’t imagine someone qualifying more than you would.

LS - So excited for you! Thank you so much for the information. I’m going to check out that website :) I totally vote girl! Looks like we’re pretty much on the same page!! Let us know as soon as you do!!

Basia - Glad you’re feeling well, but sorry for the wait you have to go through now. I feel like I would be aware of every little sign my body was making. Thanks for the advice re: spotting. Good to know that’s normal. Sorry if I missed this, but when are you testing?
