Not looking forward to shots...Ekk. I haven't started my meds yet.

They aren't so bad. It helps if you pinch the skin. I did gonal-f, menopur, lupron and progesterone with my first cycle. Now I just have lupron and progesterone shots for fet. Which meds are you doing?

None rite now, ill let u know in a couple days. My Dr told me to call him when I start my period. I thought that's how it works or u can start them at any time??

Yeah you start them with your period, I had a baseline ultrasound on day 3 also. I am having a hard time with the fet because there is so much less to do. I was easier when I had stuff to keep me busy, lol. Just got my hcg results and my hormone levels were still positive 10 weeks after my pregnancy ended! I can't believe it takes so long to get back to normal.

aww206 im sorry to hear about your miscarriage did the doctors have any idea why u might have miscarried ?
were u still on progesterone?

Hey prayin I just saw ur comment from couple days ago. Sorry for late reply but yeah if my periods don't change n no further complications I ovulate around Oct 10-11. So that's when I'm assuming ill have my ivf done. How abt u?

So aw, i didn't know ur miscarriage was so recent. I'm sorry. But do they still go thru w the fet if ur still getting positive numbers? Or will u have to wait til its zero?

well if get my period in sept is around my usual time which is the 11th then i will start medications and then its a 6 wk process from there so i will prob go in for my egg retrival around oct 25th :)

Thanks for you thoughts Prayin. No, the doctor couldn't find any good reason for the miscarriage. So hopefully next time it will all work out. I was still on progesterone and estrogen, and all my levels looked great. There was just no heartbeat. I am very hopeful for this cycle, we have 4 frozen embryos and will transfer 2 next month. I started my bcp then I start lupron shots in a couple weeks.

Ekk, is it normal to wanna back out. Lol its just getting all surreal for me just reading abt u guys doing ur ivf/fet in Sept. I'm such a chicken when it comes to the Dr. I still haven't even set up my appt for the polyps removal. Ugh.
