Hey ladies! I am actually beyond you all and am pregnant with twins from my FET in December. I can tell you it's a long process but I have a 3yr old from IVF in June 2013. I can answer a lot of questions if you need to PM me. My most recent IVF was November and we retrieved 23 eggs! However, of those 23 eggs only 3 made it to be frozen and I was devastated. So I wanted to address that right away, we were frustrated because we'd been transferring one egg at a time until I got those results and I was so upset and just felt like giving up because holy cow! 23 eggs and they only got 3?! Well we said screw it, let's transfer 2 this time because CLEARLY something is wrong with my eggs too and I'm just tired. We had transferred two and got my son so I figured maybe I just needed to do that again. Wellllll both took. SO! I am just saying, don't let the count or grades get you down. Like a nurse told me, she is sad when people get 23 eggs and then end up pregnant because then she has to have the remaining eggs destroyed. We are done with kids after these twins, that means of those 23 eggs, we only have to destroy one. It's easier on my heart than if I had 22 or 21 eggs to destroy. Anyway, I just hope I can shed some light at all. I've been doing this a while so I can give a lot of answers on whats to come too.

Good to have an IVF forum here. I just started my IVF jourmey - finished my egg retrieval on Friday (11 eggs). Will get to know about the embryos on Monday.
My doctor has advised freezing the embryos and transferring them next month. Hoping I don’t need to get another egg retrieval done and it works out this time itself!

Good luck Gem!!! I hope you won't need another retrieval. I have an appointment tomorrow. The process is slower than I expected. I guess I'm a little impatient.

FET is recommended for me as well. I see the benefits but it's more waiting, which is killing me.

Absolutely! Sorry I thought your egg retrieval is tomorrow. It helps to have someone to share things with !

So I got my results today. Out of 11 eggs, we got 9 grade 2 embryos which have been frozen today. Doc wasn’t pleased that there were no grade 1 embryos.
Have to meet them in person later this week to figure out what happens next month!

9 eggs sounds good...wish they were Grade 1...hope you can still the desired result with the frozen embroyos! By now you might already know since the site has been down...how was the follow-up appt?

I wish my retrieval was this week. I had my HSG. I am in a holding pattern till the doctor has availability to speak to me. The technician said she felt my uterine cavity was not a perfect triangle :-(

I'm supposed to call my nurse to find out if the DR wants to start me on meds in preparation for retrieval or if I have to sit out another cycle.

The nurse told me to have protected sex while I'm waiting to find out any new info...I laughed...really?!

If it was THAT easy would I even be talking to you? lol
