BFP then BFN

I got a BFP on 6 DPO (yep I’m a testaholic and tested to early) it came up straight away and I got so excited I ran out and told hubby and showed him the test BUT since then I haven’t gotten another positive ???? was it a false positive?? I’m only 8 DPO now I’m so confused! Anyone had this happen and end up being pregnant? I did not get a BFP until 11-12 DPO with my daughter.
