Blocked tubes
Hi! I just found out that my tubes are blocked (hsg). I’m feeling pretty down. I had my daughter almost 2 years ago via c section and I guess it left scarring. Has anyone had success in a situation like this? Tubal cannulation, IVF, castor oil massage. I just don’t know what to do.

I had a C-section with our first child, and after trying for our second for just over a year, my gyno told me I may have blocked tubes. It's not down to scarring, but blood that flows back into the tubes during the c-section and it's still just sitting there. I understand the cannulation procedure is quite simple, and covered by an out-patient appointment; also, you can start trying again pretty quickly afterwards, if you're feeling up to it. He also told me that women should be able to conceive quite easily after the procedure, usually within 4-6 months. I hope this is useful info :)
