IVF CONSULTATION
We both decided that we would look into IVF after Christmas. I have booked an initial consultation with a private clinic near our home for the 5th of Dec and will decide were to go from there. I am nervous and excited. Worried about the process and what it involves. Will keep you updated. Any advise or questions I need to ask from anyone that has gone through it would be very welcome. TIA

Just for anyone that is interested. My husband and I decided awhile ago that IVF was not for us, for a no of reasons. 1. our age 2. financial cost 3. emotional upset to name but a few. I am happy with our decision and I have come to terms that we will not have a baby together. we are currently NTTC and I am happy for it to stay this way as I am emotionally in a better place. we have a great happy life they way we are and I feel blessed that I have my husband, stepson and my dog in my life. Thank you for asking x

Thank you Renae for remembering. Didn't go too well Im afraid. Jim is obsessed with the cost off it even though we still don't know what it might entail as we have another consultation in January which alone will cost £200. He doesn't want me getting my hopes hopes up in case we can't afford it.

Hi Gemma, if you need any advice on UK IVF then let me know. I'm friends with a few people close to your area who went for treatment at CARE , l was at Nottingham CARE. Think I still have their price lists but should have it online on their website too. Message me if you need anything xxx

Hello there, my hubby and I did IVF 3 times, the first time didn’t work but the 2nd and 3rd time did. If you have any questions please ask. I loved the process because it was a step in the right direction. Oh yeah, we had the 3rd baby on our own when we had a weekend getaway from our first 2 IVF babies! I think it happened on its own because I finally relaxed. Baby dust to you!
