Finally ready to share this...

Hello everyone,

I have not written for a while and I apologize to you all and to all those that were really following my story. Also to all the friends here and all those that share the struggles of PCOS with hypothyroidism and being overweight and just struggling for so many years and/or other issues or just unexplained infertility. I am finally ready to share this because I am feeling much better and calmer:

Some of you lnow that I had an appendicitis in December and that was also also my last semester. So since I got sicked i had stopped taking Letrazole (Femara) which is a fertility medicine. I had taken antibiotics for almost a month and by God's grace I was able to not only graduate, walk at my December graduation and make the Dean's list, talking about miracles. I had those good things for the 3 very heavy bad things that happened to me that same month: lost my last remaining grandparent, my grandmother, my parents accident (they are doing very well now) and my bursted appendicitis.

Anyway, after that I was able to find a job which was 2 hours away from where we lived. It was a challenge but I was determined to do it. So for about 3months , i was renting somewhere else, working and seing my husband and puppy only on weekends. It was very hard. At the end , i was supposed to be transfered on working from home but that never happed. Also I got really sick from a bad cold/flu like symptoms and we realized that we were not really saving because we were paying almost double on rent, utilities , cars. I decided to take a sick leave of absence and I move back home. As I was packing for my things that weekend , I remembered reading some pregnancy symptoms on this forum and someone mentioning cold/flu like symptoms, i did not believed I could be pregnant because in 4 months , we barely had sex my DH and I, but I figured it could not hurt. I went and bought pregnancy test from CVS and it was positive. I could not believe my eyes. I bought more expensive brands like clear blue and those pink dyes , and they also say positive. I was probably 2-3 weeks by that time. Anyway i stopped taking my cold medicines and called my OBGYN and got schedule for a 7weeks scan which was almost a month later. The ultrasound confirmed my pregnancy and I am now 16weeks along.

The reason why it took me so long to share is because I waited to share with my own family and my pregnancy has been difficult. I am just now starting to feel better but before that i had all the symptoms that you can imagine in plus of a tooth infection that I could not take care of because we could not afford it. I have not been able to work and to find a job and it is a bit struggle. We still manage to have food stamps now and I have a medicaid insurance which are helping us a lot. I am just recovering from a 3weeks cold and still have a lingering cough that does not seem to want to go away. In all of that , i am thankful for all of you that have been spending me positive thoughts and always keep you all in my prayers as well.

I will keep you updated again sometimes soon but continue to check up on you all as well. Congratulations to the new mamas as well and to the others never stop believing.

Have a wonderful weekend in advance everyone.
