Fertility Clinic Appointment Got Moved Forward
So as the title says I just got a call from the fertility clinic to say that they could move our appointment forward to 31st January (that's just over 2 weeks away!!) I took the appointment straight away but it turns out DH is away out of town working and won't be able to make it, but then it turns out he will be away on the original appointment date too. ( it's busy season for him - auditor)
Do you think I'll be ok to attend on my own or does the husband HAVE to be there? I'm nervous but also excited as I hope that this will what finally helps us achieve a healthy pregnancy.

I think you will be ok attending on your own. Sit down with your husband, organize your thoughts, and start making a list with all the questions you have. During meetings with drs (especially REs) make sure to take your time to cover all areas. Don't let nurses or drs rush you; stay confident and in control of the conversation to get the most out of your meeting. Best wishes like always!

i agree with what Mozart recommended about making a list with DH and to make sure they don't rush you. Also, make sure you ask if there is a way to ask follow up questions (email, nurses line, etc) AFTER your appt. I felt pretty good about the info we received at our first appt but found I ended up with several more questions afterwards once DH and I had discussions that I didn't think to ask before talking to the RE. My clinic had a patient portal that I was able to ask follow up questions through but wouldn't have thought to ask at the time. Good luck! .
