Appendectomy and TTC

Hello everyone,

I hope you all had some wonderful Thanksgiving break. I sure did. But prior to that , my days were not fun. I started feeling out of the weather 2weeks ago (around my previous journal entry) and I was very sad , still am with the passing of my grandmother. I started feeling nauseated with fever that Saturday night. After 2 days of extreme pain, going to clinics, getting shots for the pain and vomiting and sent back home twice, i was finally admitted to the ER on Tuesday at noon. It took forever to get urine and blood samples because of my levels of dehydration. By the time they received results for my CAT scan and all those other exams, the surgeon had booked me 2nd in line for surgery. It lasted 3 hours. The same night my parents were in a car accident but thank God it was more fear than pain. Still after checking with their doctor, they came to visit me at the hospital. Mum even spend 2nights with me thr re. Diagnosis was a perforated appendix with risk of sepsis (total body infection). I stayed a full week without eating and 5 days without drinking. All my fluids and meds were through IV (intravenous ). All of it made me appreciate life even more. Anything can happen at any moment. I am the most Thankful for my husband who took care of me and my parents. I also had friends and managers visiting me at the hospital whom were the greatest moral support.

Well it is clear that my TTC plan this month is a burst. My RE plan was easy to follow: Provera for 7 days to bring AF back. I had to do it 2X with a 5 days break in between. Finally when the witch showed , i had to take Letrozole 2.5 mg (2X) daily for 5 days and wait for 10 days until starting baby dancing with DH. Unfortunately after 2 days with Femara I got sicked and had surgery few days later. I could not chart because of my fevers and DH won t be able to baby dance for a while due to my pain and post surgery care. The only symptom I have had for the past 2 days is (tmi alert!!!) heavy discharge of EWCM. Maybe that is the sign that I will have better chances trying again with Femara next month. Anyhow, I stay optimistic and keep you all in my prayers.

Baby dust everyone.....

I'm glad to hear you're okay. I can only imagine how scary that must have been, but it sounds like you had great practitioners and support so that's always great. I'm praying that Femara is helping and you get your rainbow soon, honey! God Bless and Baby Dust
