From Clomid to Femara

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all preparing for Halloween or at least enjoying the colors of the Fall. The temperature is still warm ish during the day so we have not pulled out the heavy covers and sweaters yet. I had blood drawn 2X last week as nd my results finally came yesterday. I met with the RE that told me that my FSH and estrogen levels are somewhat normal. I have good count of eggs. We did an internal ultrasounds and of course we found some little cyst, my uterus lining is a little thick and my ovaries looked good. We discussed about my weight loss journey and he told me to keep at it. He even recommended Weight Watchers. I don t know if i will subscribe. I tried Nurtisystem before and not much change happened. But i am still doing cardio, yoga and swimming . I think I just need to reassess my nutrition and things will be alright. I can lose the weight. We all can.

We also talked about getting back on Metformin, Provera for my periods to come and a new subscription of Frmara (Letrozole). He took the time to type down all the instructions and to use clear blue for the OPKs. I am very excited with getting back on tract with a Doctor that actually shows care and follows up. Such an amazing feeling. My husband also did his semen analysis and everything looks pretty well. Just a slight hiccup for the morphology. But the Doctor will tell us morec about that I think. Anyway, overall, great following so far and i am hoping for a Thanksgiving or Christmass pregnancy. If I conceive and hopefully i will , in the next following months, I should be due by the time my brother will be back from deployment. That would be an amazing welcome news. I am also very excited because I will be an Aunt for the ninth time sometimes this week or next week ( my sister is due for a girl).

Have a nice rest of the week and enjoy the few last warm days and the beautiful foliage.

Baby dust..

Hey! This all sounds so promising! I'm so glad you got an OB who cares and follows up, they are few and far between and can make the world of difference. Hope this cycle gets you your BFP <3 x

I definitely agree with ELG, from personal experience, it is so hard to find a practitioner who cares and will follow up and I am so happy you have that! I pray the Femara is what does it for you. Good Luck on your weight loss journey too, that can have it's own challenges but you're right, we can do it! Good Bless and Baby Dust

YES! That all sounds great! A BFP before year's end would be amazing. Weight loss - acupuncture with herbal supplements helps. Also, try to avoid wheat and sugar. Best wishes like always.
