We have a plan!
I had my NHS appointment this morning. The consultant asked me several questions about how long we were trying then said she didn't know why I'd been referred to her as it was a fertility clinic. I explained that I was here to get referred for the HSG test.
I also explained all my super faint tests and she said the one on Saturday looked positive but the others she couldn't see at all (it was there!!). Anyway they did their own urine test which only picks up levels of 25 hCG and of course it was negative. I've also had a blood test which will come back tomorrow. I know I'm not pregnant, I just need to know what is going on.
Anyway the doctor went away and spoke to the consultant who agreed to the HSG test. Yay! It was short lived!! She proceeded to tell me it's a 3 month waiting list for the test, and 4 MONTHS for the results!?!! Are you kidding me! 7 months!! So what a complete waste of my time. I spoke to DB and we agreed to go with the private doctor we saw a few weeks back and pay her for the test. £400 for the test, then the follow-up appointment and everything that entails. I don't think we have a choice.
Anyway, I feel like we've made a decision now, and we just need to go with it. AF is still a no show, so everything on hold test wise until it starts anyway!

Thank you Mozart! xx That is exactly how we feel! The unbelievable thing was the NHS doctor agreed I must have something wrong with the tube hence the reason for the ectopic, but won't give us the results for 4 months, and said to me that we will probably have fallen pregnant by then anyway and won't need to get the results!!??! How is that logical! xx
