Cycle #4 - CD 13

Here we are at another Monday morning! I did really well waking up to my alarm over the weekend to temp. I have zero shift in my temps. For five days now or so, I've had the exact same temp. Only one day did it change by .1 degree. Seems kind of odd after all of the BBT charts I've looked at from other people. I started using OPKs for the first time this cycle as well. Just started it on CD 10, so I've used 3 so far. Doesn't look like the line is getting any darker. I'm not surprised, though. Doctor said last week I haven't been ovulating, and I don't start the progesterone until next month to regulate my cycles. So if I do ovulate this month, it would be a blessing from above. I seem to still get my hopes up every time I use an OPK, though. Had a very relaxing weekend with my family, so I think that helped keep my mind off of things. :)

I have multiple times in cycles where my temps flatline. I think I went four or five days one time, and last cycle just after ovulation my temps flatlined. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Next cycle I'm thinking about buying a new bbt thermometer and see if that helps, maybe you might do that too?
Praying for a positive opk for you soon!

Good idea! Maybe I need a BBT thermometer. I've been using a regular one. Doctor said it's sufficient, but I'm wondering if it's sensitive enough.

Oh I would definitely get a bbt thermometer, they are more sensitive and with bbt it only changes by .01 sometimes. I got a cheapie at Walmart but you can find them almost anywhere!

Well when I first got a thermometer, it was actually because my daughter was sick and the old one broke. So I bought two cheapie ones from Walmart. A regular one, and a BBT one. Well the BBT one said "Err" on it the first time I turned it on. It was already broken! And I just never got around to returning it or getting a new one. That is going on my to-do list for sure!!

I know cvs has some good ones too. The one I use right now might actually be from Target. It is white and pink and I like it because it beeps when it's done, where the one I got at cvs doesn't. If I have to keep going more cycles I think I might splurge on the one I saw at cvs that was also back-lit, that would help a ton!

Just checked, the one I've been using is from Target.

Good point! The backlight would help. I hate it when it's so dark and I'm half asleep. Luckily the thermometer I have shows the last temp taken when you first turn it on, so I can double-check it when I fully wake up!

That's what I do right now too. I take it, don't bother trying to read it, go back to sleep and read it when I get up.
