Can anyone give advice on using OPKs?
Okay, so this is my first full cycle of using OPK's. I started on CD 7 just to be on the safe side. I see that they say to take it twice a day. What is the best times? I know they say to hold and limit your liquids 2 hrs prior to testing. I have only taken one a day so far, around 10 am. But I am noticing that they are getting lighter. Which I thought was odd, can anyone give me some advice or take a look at them?

Supposedly, most women have their surge between 8 and 10 am, so the best time to test is in the afternoon/early evening. However, I generally test 3 times a day when I get close to suspected ovulation (first or second morning urine, when I get home from work, and before I go to bed). I use the Wondfos, which are delightfully cheap and reliable.
As to them getting lighter, your LH levels fluctuate throughout the month, typically they hover around 5, which is why you almost always have a line of some sort, but they can go down to nearly zero or up to nearly 20 without being your surge.

I always do second urine of the day ,Then 530 and , 7pm at night wen lines starting to get darker.. . I test 3 times day. Right before I know wen im about to ovulated. You can check ur cervical mucus as well... it goes to water to egg whites then creamy 4 days before O for my self 2 days after.. good lucky chicky.
