Question

spotting for 3 days..does this count as a period?

hi all! I am back!! my so and I took a few months off ttc, but we are back! now I thought I started my period on feb 22, which was Friday. I have just been spotting though, no flow really at all. does the 22nd still count as the start of my period, or should I wait until the actual flow starts?

That is a tough one because I also have wondered about this. I read in quite a few places that you count AF as first day of full flow where either a pad or tampon is needed. Last cycle was longest I ever has because I spotted for few days before full flow so I didn't count them. If I count from day of spotting, my cycle length would've been quite normal for me. So I'm not sure 100% but I'm guessing it can go either way. I'm sure it would depend on what a normal cycle for you is like.
Sorry, I don't have a more definitive answer.
