according to my doctor it is. im now 16 DPO and he still thinks its to soon, i have to wait till after my period is over 1 week late (about 20-22dpo) For a more accurate blood test result. My period is 5days late, but im waiting to get a blood test done. Pretty much, the longer you wait the better, more accurate result you will get, it is possible to get a false negative blood test if the hormone isn't strong enough. Best to wait a little longer :)

I was told by my doc that you will prob get a BFP with a HPT before you get positive result with a blood test. Which is weird to me i thought it would have been the other way around so maybe do a test at home :) baby dust
