oh sarah good luck at the drs im thinking of you! so we sat down and talked last night and the underlying feeling is he just doesn't want anymore kids,he said he will get tested in the next 2 weeks but im sure i will have to hound him about it and he said he can't win either way cuz if it comes back that something is wrong with him hen he siad your going to leave, yes im going to leave i feel it is my choice that i have to make. why can't i just get pregnant and go from there. our relationship is at a stand still right now,and i don't know what to do if it does come back that something is wrong. i hate stress im sooo nauceaus and tired,not to mention i finally went to a walkin clinic and i have a sinus infection and bronchial pneumonia to boot. why cn't life just be a little easier for me right now

He agreed, now first get it done, see what the results are and then worry about it after, you gotta be positive.

I have friends who tried to have babies for 5.5 years (both are perfectly fine...all their tests were perfectly normal), and the only way they got pregnant was via In Vitro Insemination. Another couple that I know got pregnant after 3.5 years of trying... For them it happened naturally...nothing was wrong with them, it just took a very long time...and after she gave brith, 6 months later she was pregnant again...so you just never know...

How long have you been trying for?

Dr wont give me clomid. Got to see fertility specialist. Feel completely f@#$ing useless! Just off to shoot myself!

Dr is an idiot. Some give it like candy .. some won't at all and I'm in the US.
I can say that from what I know you probably should do some tests before the chlomid as there could be something will making bean stick and you dont want to be going through that again.

Stupid stupid Dr! I ask for clomid and she says " I cant really give you it". My interpretation "I'm not supposed to but I will". After spouting, (in autowhitter) facts, figures, dates, statistics etc for a whole 3 minutes (without coming up for air) the patronising bint, whom might I add looks like she's never had a shag in her whole life and is about 12, says I'll have to be referred. I was pathetically begging her. 38 years old and begging a kid for three months supply. Then I used my trump card! "Oh well, I'll just buy it off the internet". Stupid mistake. Got a lecture about ingredients these internet companys use. Grrrrrrrrr! So, resigned to the fact that I would have to see a specialist, I then approached her regarding my other problem. When I got my BFP in July I gave up smoking. Not a problem. When I got my scan results I began again with a vengence. I know the dangers. Managed to get it under control and only smoking a few. We have a drug called Champix here that you take while smoking and it puts you off for life. I ask her and guess what? She cant prescribe that either! What was the f###ing point?
So the outcome of yesterdays hour long visit (59 mins waiting, 1 min with stupid child prodigy Dr):
1)No Clomid
2)Appointment with Fertility Dr to be organised. Clomid would have cost $12, app $200 and all they will give me is clomid!
3)Appointment with Smoking Clinic to be organised. Again same as above.
4)Feeling of utter uselessness soaked right through to my core.
5)Desire not to TTC anymore.
6)Feeling of fear that DH will leave me for a younger model.
7)Inability to start my van.
8)Bright red swollen nose due to crying because of all of the above!

Well not today ladies! I have slept on it and am very chipper! I have said it before and I will say it again, I will just steal a baby. Reckless teenage mothers leaving crying infants outside shops better beware! Baby nicker on the loose! Dont call NYPD coz Im kidding!

@Happy - Still no AF but I know she's looming. Bfns today at 13dpo.
@Suzy - Dont wait for me coz I reckon this is gonna take ages and dont want to hold you up. You go and get it then Moni's not on her own. Im relying on you two to have multiples then there is no need for me to go to prison for abduction. And buyer will collect!
@Aroma - has DH wondered what will happen if everything is ok? He seems to worry about you leaving him. My last partner had a vasectomy and didnt tell me for three years! I had pregnancy scares and everything. The dirty b@$tard!

And on a cheery note, Dr in diapers told me I might not be a priority coz I already have a kid. For f###s sake, she's twenty one this year!

Sarah you need a stiff drink- or many. I feel your fustration and completely empathize with you. There shouldnt even be a priority for a fertillity specialst who says who is more important. GRRRR.. I hate the friggin medical field. I'm fustrated for you now... :)

Get your drink on.. I think I may have one for you tonight after I complete my day of complete craziness at work!
