Hi ladies,

I figured I would join this board. I've started my IVF cycle and if it works I should be due around the end of May.

Trying.... That sucks. I'm sorry af got you. I thought it would be so easy too to get pregnant again, but in the year I've been trying, two of my very fertile sisters have gotten pregnant and given birth. I'm still here.... Nothing every month. Genetically I should be octomom by now.

Margie - welcome and good luck on the IVF. I wish I could afford that.

Afm, 11 dpo and nothing yet. My fmu was really watered down. Almost clear. I feel different though, so I feel like I need to cancel my procedure on Monday. Af isn't due till Thursday and it's just too much of a risk that i could be destroying a pregnancy that hasn't produced enough HCG to detect. The odds are way against me, but is always wonder....

Calvingirl - I understand. DH and I have been pinching pennies for a while so that we could pay for it. it's so expensive it's ridiculous.

awebste - Good luck I'm keeping my FX that you caught the egg. I also really liked CB Digitals when I was still using OPKs.

Miam - Good luck BDing. I hope you caught the egg.

Chicks - I'm sorry you and your DH are fighting. I know sex is a difficult topic for my DH and I as well. Congrats on the weight loss. That's so awesome that you're choosing to make some healthy changes in your life. I've been relying of exercise to get me through the pre IVF stress.

Storm - I'm keeping my FX that this is your month.

AFM - I had my first blood test check up for the cycle. My estrogen was at 50 and they wanted it to be at 200 so now my meds are increased. I'm so grateful my mom has come to stay for most of the IVF cycle so she can help administer the needles. I feel bad though because I accidentally made her cry when I joked about the side effects getting worse with the increase in medications. She feels so bad that she has to watch me be uncomfortable and possible in pain. I have another blood test and U/S tomorrow to check for follicle growth.

Margie - I'm so admiring of those able to do the fertility shots. I'm so scared of needles. I know I'd do anything for a child, but I dont' know...that'd be really hard for me. Me and DH decided we weren't going to go past the clomid stage besides some tests. He did IVF with his ex-wife and it didn't work and he doesn't have warm fuzzies about the process. I'm so hoping this works for you!!

Chicks - so sorry about you and OH, but if it's gone than it's better to deal with it now. Babies don't fix relationships. I'm so sorry.

Trying - so bummed AF caught you. I've only been trying for over a year after my loss, but in that time I've had TWO sisters "accidentally" get pregnant and give birth to healthy babies. I'm very jealous, and I always give myself the end of the month to be super bummed, cry, maybe get a little (or a lot) drunk on wine. Be kind to yourself.

Storm and others - hope you guys start the BFPs rolling because we've been kinda dry in that area for a while.

AFM, I know my test looked promising, but then so did the next 4 strips I did - VERYYY faint. Plus a walmart 88cent one, super faint. FRER, negative or VVFL - it's hard to tell with those indents they get. EIther way, No change. I have that feeling in my uterus like something is there - and I think it might be another uterine fibroid. They give off low levels of HCG, and I've had a bunch of them. Point is, I'm 12 dpo, AF is due Thursday and lines aren't getting darker. I think it's a bust this month.

I am now 5 weeks and 5 days now but have had vanishing Symptoms and really hope this isn't another miscarriage. I go Thursday for my appointment and ultrasound with the fertility specialists so everything is OK.

Margie - Hey!!!! Wow - you are so brave - I am scared of needles too so I admire you as well. Nice that you have your mom around to help you with it too! FX its your time girl! I will be praying for ya!

calvin - FX for you still - until that cruel bitch shows herself you are not out!

afm: nothing new cycle related - 3dpo give or take. Just had my daughters 1st birthday party yesterday it was amazing we had such a good time. Lots of planning paid off and it was a great success. Unfortunately for me this is my last week of maternity leave - my one year has sadly come to an end. I return to work on Tuesday after the holiday weekend and I can feel my anxiety about it is already kicking into high gear. I know everything will be alright - but its going to be a big transition.

awebste- sorry that you have to go back to work. Where do you live that you can take a year off for maternity leave? I want to move there LOL!

calvin- I am praying for you!

AFM- Im not sure If I ovulated or not. I wont know for another day or two. if I did I will be the shortest surge I have had since consistently doing opks. If not then I think this is a funny cycle. trying to baby dance as much as possible that way we don't miss it. I read that the red raspberry can mess with opks/ovulation so right now its just a waiting game.

Miam - I live in Ontario, Canada. The year flew by - I know I am making a bigger deal about it than I should be. I am grateful to have been able to take the year - our new found routine will hopefully come without too much trouble and then it will be our new normal. And who knows - maybe ill be pregnant with baby #2 in no time and I can look forward to another mat leave with my babes.

Well I'm out. The just got me.

I'm done with the Clomid. 3 cycles and it didn't help, and in fact I think hurt a little by messing with my cycles, and my hair was shedding way more than it did before. I'm switching to Vitex and see if that helps. So CD1 for me too.

Good luck for the rest of you ladies! I'm going to start a June group, as my next cycle would be EDD June 6, but I'll still be around here to see the BFPs that I know are coming soon....:)

Well it finally hit hubby that I am running out of time. He made an appt for tomorrow to get himself checked out.
