@Basia - what time is your appointment tomorrow! Eek!

AFM - looks like another month, another BFN. sigh. We have our appointment Friday with the St. Louis doctor. Maybe something will come of that.

@basia-I am so very excited to hear how your retrieval goes. I remember feeling so nervous and anious for retrieval. It was so weird afterwards knowing those eggs were no longer in me and I had done as much as i could to make them healthy. The process is so up and down. The shots were easy on me, however, i was so done with them after about the third day. I hated being pocked. I am so excited for you and pray this leads to your lasting BFP. Please keep us updated.

@baby- I am so sorry about your BFN. I pray you get a surprise call today with good news. It's amazing to me how even IVF does not work sometimes. Before looking into IVF i thought it was a sure thing. Then, the more people i spoke to about it, i realized how it was not. My heart hurts for you and i hope you guys take some time today just the two of you when receiving the news. I am still keeping my fingers crossed.

@TTC- UGH, i am so sorry about your BFN also. I am so tired of seeing BFN's in here and i really think we are going to get a wave of BFP's here soon. I am glad you are not giving up. I do not know you personally, and I know this may sound stupid, but i always thought ivf would never been an option for us either. We saved every single penny and DH got a second job and somehow, we paid for it. I still look back and think...how in the hevck did we do that??? I know everyone's situation is different, but maybe thta will give you some hope.

@while-I am so sorry. I hate these BFN's. They are not fair and stupid! I am excited about your appointment and hope you get lots of answers. You so derserve that.

@margie- I think the way you are feeling is so normal for when going along on this journey. I had so many months were i was done, i felt bitter, and i hated everything around me. Then i had months when i was so upbeat and felt like it was ok, and we were going to tackle this. I swear DH probably thought i was a ticking time bomb. I don't blame him. It is normal to feel that way and it is ok to feel that way. You have to let yourself cry and be weak every now and then...you are human and can only do so much. I think it makes us stronger. It gives us that release and then lets us move forward and know that tomorrow is a new day.
You are right...taking one step at a time is the best. I would get so far ahead of myself and DH would have to stop me and say....babe, we are not even there yet...live for today.

@keth - I am eager to hear about your results. keep us updated.

@cate - feel the same way :(

AFM- I am so sorry if i missed anyone! Catching up over the weekend is always so hard for me! Not sure if any of you followed the US Open this year, but it was where i live so it was pretty fun to watch. We had beautiful weather for it and that doesn not seem to be going anywhere. Glad people could see a different side to Washington State's weather! It does not only rain here :)

Well, we have one week until we find out what this little nugget is! I am so excited! I think i am leaning towards wanting a girl, but i will be so happy either wya, i just want to know! Please ladies...when you feel like giving up, i have been there and i truly never ever ever thought i would be here typing this. It WILL happen for you, and when it does, the timing will be absolutley PERFECT. He is pretty good at what He does.

LS - Love what you said. So glad to have you on this board. You've given us all so much encouragement. I hope we can give you some too! Exciting you'll get to find out the sex soon! I don't know what I would do...part of me would want to wait, but my husband wants to find out for sure!! I can't wait to start shopping though...well...admittedly I've already begun. I have a bag of clothes haha.

Basia - Can't wait to hear from you on how things went today.

@Cate - I am glad :) I never want to come off as the annoying pregnant person saying, when the timing is right, it will happen. I hated hearing that ha. So annoying.

DH wanted to wait since everything has been so dictated for us and nothing has ben a surprise, but i couldnt wait to know! I actually havent bought one thing yet! I can't believe i havent! I have two older sisters who are done havng kids, so we have been given a ton of stuff, but the second we find out....i will be shopping for sure!!!

Hi Ladies,

Basia - Yay! congrats on tee 16 eggs. I hope most of them fertilize and you have your pick of the bunch for a day 5 transfer.

LS - Thank you so much for your kind words. It really is uplifting to hear about how your pregnancy is progressing. I've fel almost Bipolar on this journey. so many ups and downs. This past weekend was definitely a low point for me. Thank you for making me feel normal. I've felt like such an anomoly in my day to day life.

I'm really looking forward to hearing what you're having. I'm so excited that you're already at that point. FX that a bunch of us will be following in your footsteps soon.

kethryes - Thank you. I really hope you get some good results soon.

While - I hope the new doctor will be able to do something different that will lead you to your BFP.

AFM - well I'm in a better mood today. Thank goodness. I think I might be self medicating with chocolate but I do what I have to to keep myself going. DH and I are going to try the SMEP this month since we're off of IUIs until next month. I'm actually kind of hopeful. It would be amazing to get my BFP naturally. If not then we'll go back to another IUI and hope that works. I'm going to contact my clinic and see if they can change things up a bit for my last IUI. Maybe I can at least get them to monitor me and find out if the clomid is actually doing anything.

Basia... I guess the number is ok... I hope for the best outcome for tomorrow's news! Many healthy fertilized eggs!
Ls, thanks for being so supportive!!! Waiting for knowing the baby s sex must be exciting! I think when you ll hear the sex of your baby, you would think that it was the one you wanted most...
Margie! Enjoy the forthcoming intercourses! Trying for a natural conceive includes a lot of pleasure!
Afm, tomorrow i ll have the biopsy results.
My other medical exams for the ivf are good, no genetic problem, no thyroid problem. Ca125 was high enough and it may confirms that i have endo. At the ivf clinic they had told me that they would do the ivf, as it is not affected by endo. From my searches in google i saw different opinions about that. I wil discuss that with my doc, and i will follow her advise.
