Fiverson.....flex card I believe is a flex spending account that some companies offer. It's pre tax dollars that go into an account to be spent on only medical related expenses or health and wellness. It's usually associated with an insurance plan. I used to have one but didn't use it much.....wish I had it now!
We are just doing a nice dinner at Ditkas steakhouse and chilling out. Some nice r and r is much needed!

While - Now that you have given a little explanation, I know exactly what you are refering too. I work at a hospital and they do have the Flaxible spending account for us. I beleive I just missed the enrollement deadline though. Bummer :( I think I may still call my HR Rep and see if I can't do a late enrollement.

@fiverson - yes - our enrollment was I think November and my DH's was I believe in December, and both our our Flex cards started back in January. yes, I should have called it an FSA. If you can't get on this year, you might plan for next year!
Fertility treatment counts, so that's nice!

I am still girls tracking your progress so I will be here checking on you...
as to FLEX - Flexible Spending Accounts...
It is a medical plan that allows you to put money away before tax. You can have either FLEX card with it or just submit reimbursement with the company that offers that kind of account.
Just be careful about Flexible Spending Accounts (Section 125 Plans)
At the yearly enrollment you need to tell them how much you want to contribute to the account per year.
If you don't use that money by the end of the year that money goes away.
So let's say you put $1000 for a year and that year you only had $600 of expenses - you lose $400
There is also a different plan called HSA - in that account whatever you put into it (there is a limit per year how much you can put into it) it carries over for next year and it is also a pre-tax plan.

katie - it's hard to not feel gutted when you get a negative at 10DPO, but many ladies did and got a positive later! we know you're still in til AF shows! definitely understand your feelings and once in a while we need to throw a pity party so we can move on. i also have these thoughts, and 2 months ago i had my first fertility appt. since then we've done the work-up and we have a plan and i feel a little better... but still have the thoughts of whhhyyyy????
danigrace - FX'd for you!
floz - sorry AF got you!!! we'll be lucky in november! or i forget, were you guys gonna take a break with the moving?
carla - sorry about AF!!! yeah, katie did sum up our feelings pretty well.
while - glad opk was finally positive, hope you and hubby caught that egg!!! GL during the TWW!
hisladybug - sorry about the negative and AF coming early. never did the saliva tests. i stick with the opks, cm checking, and temping. my fertility doc recommended the CB digi with the smiley face for opk.
GB - thanks!! and sorry about AF :( my last cycle was also 25 days. hope the fertility appt really helps. they may want to check your progesterone at 8DPO, that's my issue too.
bella - so sorry about the CP hun :( FX'd you get a rainbow baby next cycle!!
joiefae - thanks!! :)
molldoll - happy TWW! sorry about the job stressing, but hopefully it does make the TWW go fast and can distract you, but not negatively!
nicole - thanks!! i also use the CB digi with smiley, my fertility doc recommended that one over the blinking one. hope AF is a no show!
koti - thanks!! hope AF doesn't come!!! you and i are very close in TTC months, i really hope both of us get lucky soon!!!
basia - sorry to hear you'll be leaving, or you'll still be checking in to say hi?? hope you guys are able to get in a good place so you can be fresh for TTC again in august, but i hope you get lucky randomly sooner!!
aclark - thanks and congrats!!! what DPO are you?? anything different this cycle??
fiverson - we also use preseed, if needed. kinda nice knowing i have a 'back up' if i'm a lil stingy on my end ;) GL this cycle!!! no special plans, maybe a movie or something? you?
j94mile - welcome!!! hope you guys get a BFP this cycle!!!
AFM, CD12. took 25mg clomid days 3-7 this cycle. today was my follicle scan. good news is we have a 26mm follicle on the left. for comparison, my sonoHSG last cycle was on CD11 and my largest was 15mm on my right. normally i O on CD15. doc is like yeah, you're gonna go early. and i purposely delayed opk's this cycle! dang it. normally i start CD10, but i figured let's take a chill pill this cycle. oops. oh well. so i take my opk digital and i urinated too much and flushed the dye too much and it errored. when checked later the line looks pretty dang dark. i had some cheap target brand opk left over from october so i took one of those and it's maybe positive. normally i get a positive opk and ovulate the same day (doc said it's kinda strange, but can happen in like 10% of gals). been feeling ovary pain all day on the left. we BD'd twice on my birthday, saturday. we BD'd after DH got home this afternoon. BD likely tomorrow also. totally throws off my BD less plan this month, but oh well, maybe that's for the better since obviously my last plans didn't work out :p i saw my doc diagnosed me with CL deficiency. our plan is to not supplement progesterone this cycle and do a progesterone check at 8DPO to see if the clomid makes me ovulate better, and therefore make a better CL to kick out progesterone.

Koti- We arnt doing anything special for valentines, the move is taking over!! I think I might cook something special, but then again we don't have any money for that... I do get paid that day tho (Yippee!!!!) We shall see yet ;)
first time- We were supposed to be taking a break, I think my bf has other ideas though bless him!! Haha!!
This FLEX thing you're all on about makes me glad I live in the UK. I can go to Dr's for free, pay only for prescription medicine, other medicines I must buy at full price. All hospital treatment is free aswell. Dental is not... And preg tests are VERY expensive, no cheapies here!!
CD4, I am only checking in here to keep up with everyone but im officially Nov board :)
Aclark- Congratulations hun! H&H 9 months to you :D
