Welcome, guys! I hear October babies are awesome. Baby dust to everyone!

If we conceive this cycle, my EDD would be October 2, 2014.

@GB - it is correctly that just because you get an LH surge doesn't mean you are ovulating. However, my understanding is that it is rare, but that it can happen. Temping is more accurate as far knowing if you did. LH predicts would you would but just because you get a surge doesn't 100% guarantee each month if you will ovulate.

Koti:
So far I have not done anything. I am going to Dr. in a week and a half to hopefully get tested and we will see what the issue is.
I am a stress freak so that does not help for sure and my eating habits are just ok.
I am going to the Dr. around the time when I think I ovulate so hopefully she can test the hormone levels.
The OvaCue fertility monitor should also be able to let me know if the progesterone hormone is low or not. We will see how well it works.
One plus is that my AF this time is manageable ;)
Much less pain than usually.

Still hoping for and October baby.

to all and

GB: You are not one of them.

The ones I am talking about are the ones that come on to show off their they got in their 1-3 months trying without ever actually posting anything else and then they disapear. Don't get me wrong, I am very happy for them, but some people here have been trying for a while and that is just cruel.

Basia: Good luck at the doctor's. Please share what you find out as I am in the same boat. I stress really easy too, and despite knowing its a problem and doing things to get over it, I still stress and have trouble lowering stress levels. Maybe I need to move a mountain in India maybe there I won't stress...

Koti - I have only been trying since Sept 2013 and I have kind of felt that way too and thought maybe I should take a month off, but I really like talking with a lot of the women on here - you included. You ladies give me great knowledge and it lets me vent out how I'm feeling so I feel I'm not "bothering" other people in my life with how consumed I can get in this TTC process.

Kot - You're a genius! I discarded my temp from CD16 and it puts me at 8DPO today. I've used OPK's in the past and I just found it to be more of a hassel...it just feels weird to POAS at my office...mind you I have tons of Construction guys in and out all day so it's a bit tricky to be discrete sometimes...LOL! I think if this is not our cycle, I'll try the OPK's next cycle, along with temping....especially with my weird temps lately, it should help.

GB - so far as getting an LH surge and then not ovulating until later...that's exactly what happened to me in my last cycle. The trip to stay with family after Christmas threw my system out of whack. The clear blue fertility monitor detected my LH surge, but I didn't get the symptoms of my O (temp, EWCM, cramps) until several days later. It said I peaked on Dec. 28 and 29, when I didn't really O until Jan. 2.

koti - I can understand your decision to leave the forums for awhile, but I will surely miss you, so I hope you don't. But I know you have to do what's best for you.

Kotikd: I will miss your posts!!! I felt like being a part of this forum in the beginning was causing me more stress, but once I didn't focus on everyone else I was able to keep track of my own progress and even change a few things like starting to temp and use OPK's.

I too thought temping would bother my DH but I would just wake up every morning, roll over, and stick the Themometer in my mouth. He never woke up and if he was awake, he never questioned why I was taking my temp. Even now at 5 weeks pregnant, I still temp every morning.

You ladies are more than welcome to look at my page and view my bbt chart. I kept track of temps, OPk's, and a few days of CM. Hope this may help someone. to all of you!!!

@Ko - one option would be to join the long time TTC forum. I may join that one in addition to this one. I am not sure what the rule is but I would guess TTC over one year? It might be worth checking out!
