Good luck Sarah! All I can say is keep up a positive attitude, I think it really, really helps as TTC can be so difficult. PreSeed is some great stuff, I was using it when I was actively trying but we have spent the last couple months taking some time off. I also need to get the applicators to insert internally, but we use it for all of our bding needs.

Sarah: I know well how frustrating tracking cycles is, but you'll get the hang of it and have a in no time .

AFM: Got my progesterone levels back, been looking online to see if it is good, but can't tell. It is 26, and todays is either 7 or 9DPO, is 26 good???
I don't feel like there is an issue this time because I did not spot yet like in previous cycles.

pbc - i know exactly what you're talking about. i'm just glad that i should be able to get pregnant, i just want it to hurry up! ;) my DH's SA is still pending, so hoping that looks ok. sorry his boys have some motility probs. hope the IUI really helps to solve that, it does just cost so much! and if you don't have an official underlying medical problem then insurance usually covers nothing :( hope your thyroid gets figured out and it isn't anything too major! definitely recommend the progesterone check at like 8DPO, you may have a LP defect also. bet your doc would order it if you let her know about your LP length. GL!

koti - have a fabulous time in mexico! i'll have to keep you updated on what all happens, hopefully your lil sis doesn't have issues when she feels it's time. and thanks :) and jpm is right about the laparoscopy. ooo you just posted your progesterone result as 26, right? there's two reference ranges out there, depending on how your lab measures it. i wanna say that for both ranges 26 was a good number. mine was only 3.2. when can you talk to your doc about it?

sarah - welcome!!! wow that's a lot of BD'ing! if you do it a couple more days you should be absolutely perfect! we used preseed last cycle and will likely this cycle, we like it. my doc said if a lube is needed they do rec preseed. GL!

AFM, CD12. likely will have opk + in 2 days. measuring opk in the evenings this cycle because i feel FMU was making me stress all day about how we HAD to BD that night. anyhoo my body is also telling me to BD, so away we go! ;)

pbc910: My hubby and I also really like the PreSeed as well. I will be buying more if it doesn't work out this month. Definitely trying my best to stay postive, helps knowing I finally got my positive OPK! Got another positive today so I'm making sure to cover all the grounds.

kotikd: It is very frustrating trying over and over again but I have confidence it will happen. My concerns are more my medical history and holding onto the pregnancy. I currently take Coumadin daily because I am prone to clotting. I am homozygous Factor V Leiden and also have the factor II mutation (prothrombin). I ended up in the hospital for multiple PE when I was 18. I am now 25 and haven't had a clot since but I am fully aware I will be high risk for pregnancy. As soon as I confirm a pregnancy I will be switched to Lovenox. Coumadin is very dangerous for the baby but if I switch right away it is not a risk.

Firsttimemommy30: Yes, it is a lot of BDing but don't want to miss our chance! Haha. The last few months we tried the every other day method but then I read every day isn't necessary bad as it produces fresh healthy sperm. We will see what happens this month. Trying out different things each month and eventually we will get our

aclark13: I am very sorry the showed her face today. Welcome to the October board! Good luck this month sweetie.

Basia30: I just had my second positive OPK today and hoping I catch this egg! If I ovulate today my EDD is October 3rd so I am right there with ya. Here is to hoping for a bunch of October babies!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm enjoying reading everyone's stories. So next thursday (the 16th) is when I believe I'll ovulate. Getting nervous, this will be the first attempt. I believe its thursday because my period comes every 4th thursday like clockwork. I notice ewcm only on cycle days 14, 15 & 16 (which has consistantly been a wed, thurs, fri) I'm hoping that continues to be consistant. So do you all BD all week or for those three days especially? Has anyone tried Robitussin to improve quality of cm? I read that somewhere. So we can't use normal KY? I'm assuming that's what preseed is? Ill have to get that. Gosh, I imagine the two week wait is going to be intense :) I'm thankful for this forum to have you ladies to talk to about this. We haven't told anyone were going to start trying.
Sending postive vibes to all of you â?¡

Hi jj1009,

So exciting this is your first month TTC! Best of luck! Definitely helps to have such a consistent cycle. You shouldn't have difficulty pinpointing your fertile days. It is recommended to BD every other day until right around ovulation you should do every day for at least 3 days from the start of your surge to a few days after to make sure you catch O. Have you ever used OPKS? I am too worried I'll miss it somehow so this month I have just been going every day. I haven't ever tried Robitussin to help with CM but you should give PreSeed a try. It is a sperm friendly lubricant that acts as fertile CM. I wouldn't use normal KY because it can be difficult for the sperm to move freely. The TWW is a bit dreadful but there are a lot of happy stories that come from it.

Jj1009 your cycle is great, I hope it stays that way for you, will make your ttc journey easier. If you can then bd every day of your fertile window (day of ov and 3 days prior) would be good timing. Are you tracking your ov with any other method? If your cycle is that consistent you will be able to pinpoint your window accurately each month after only a short time charting I've been using bbt only but I think I might start opks this month.

second month of TTC! Not quite sure its going to be our month tho. we've been super busy with new jobs and getting careers started and I'm pretty sure by body is still trying to recover from being on the pill for so long and since we both have new jobs we have no insurance right now :-( .... but praying for you all though! Trying to stay positive!
