My pain in my pelvic area has gotten sharper, I'm kind of getting anxious/concerned about it now. I have my yearly appointment on Monday but if this pain keeps up or gets worse I may go to see the doctor tomorrow if I can. I don't know what to think. I'm only 3dpo so it can't be implantation and it's not AF coming because I'm not due til 2/12. I googled it and it says ectopic pregnancy you can get pain in pelvic area on sides so now I'm all nervous. Ugh. Hoping I wake up and this pain is gone. I would say on scale of 1-10 it's about a 7 or 8 when it's sharp. And it's happening on mostly my left side but also my right side. It's not constant but it's definitely there. Has anyone else ever felt pain like this? Do you think it's normal and what do you think could be causing it?

I had those pains for a few days right around ovulation for a few days. It gets worse and I have gone to the doctor for it and they thought it was either my gallbladder or appendicitis or an ovarian cyst. Well it turned out to be none of that. A few days later the pain subsided and then the next month I went through the same process again. My pain has been unbearable at times and it did switch sides. Not sure what to tell you sweetie. My gynecologist told me it was severe middleschmertz.

I had pain early with my last pregnancy. My OB's office said ectopic pain is typically not felt until starting around the 6th week. I had a uterine pregnancy, just an empty sac.

What it sounds like to me is ruptured cyst. If one bursts it can be incredibly painful initially and last quite awhile. But since we rupture every month, it's most likely where you ovulated from. Strangely, my pain was on the right side so I figured that's where I had O'd from and what I was told by several people, including OB's nurse (I did have pain on both sides but worse was on the right)...but when I had my scan at 6w1d, the tech said I ovulated from the left.

I get right side pain in pregnancies now. I'm not sure why. My OB didn't have any other answers but that perhaps it was related to my digestive tract and to maybe see someone about it. But he didn't consider it to be a gynecological issue.

Anyhow, I hope that helps! Very likely ruptured cyst pain. If it gets worse, definitely go see a doc. Normally it's not harmful or much to be concerned about aside from the pain that should be manageable. However, Internal bleeding can happen and be life threatening. Not to scare you, just be aware and watch for signs.

Hey ladies if we conceive this cycle I will EDD on 22nd of October 2014. Will want an October baby and my mum is October .
5DPO and no symptoms atall , except for creamy CM which have had on every circle since I started ttcing , every other past cycles I had all them pregnancy symptoms and end up with BFNs , so I jst feel empty and out this cycle. But will be happy to get my BFP . And if I don't will be taking a break till May , DH and I are travelling to diff. cities for work . C how it will be great if tins turn round and I get BFP. Gl to you . Baby dust to all ttcers .

SO...I got my BFP!! :))) My EDD is October 8, 2014. But I have a question for you ladies. I had some light bleeding 2 days ago that lasted for 2 days (approx. 3 days before AF was due). Yesterday nothing, it all stopped. So, I took a HPT and faint pink line! This morning I took another and the line is def darker. I have some light spotting today though. Is this normal?? Today was the day AF was due. This is my first time being pregnant so I don't know! Please help :)

jpm - Congrats!! So excited for you. My due date is October 9th and I found out on Monday. Its also my first, so I'm not sure about the spotting. I assume its a great sign you got a darker bfp today. Maybe call and leave a msg for a nurse at your Dr office to ease your mind.

My pain finally subsided. Amen! That was an awful feeling yesterday. And it went on all day an all night until I went to bed at 1am. Thank you so much BabyFever and GDS3 for your input. I really appreciate it!

Yay for no pain today and fingers crossed that feeling stays away!

jpm Congratulations on your BFP!!! If you don't mind me asking, how long are your cycles usually? Do you remember what days you BD'd on? I do t imagine that a little blood is anything to worry about, but I agree that you should call your doctor if you're in any way nervous about it. Good luck and Cheers to you!
