jpm: Welcome and baby dust!

pbc: I made no resolutions. I do them through out the year, so when the new year arrives I am already doing them. This year what I have been doing is working out, trying to srink more water, and eat a little more regularly. Oh and of course stress less. (same ones for years now LOL).
How about you?

spiderman: Welcome and baby dust! Why aren't you testing?

AFM: My colposcopy results say that I have atypical/CIN1 cells, no one seems worried about them and want to do nothing at this point, so I continue living without thinking about it.
I am not sure what if any DPO I am right now, 3 days ago I got +OPK and ovulation pains, but temps been crazy due to all these days off and irregular sleep. Yesterday temp was too low for LP, today it is more in line but I didn't really sleep at all last night.
I am supposed to test progesterone this cycle, but I have no idea what DPO I am.... No sure what to do...

Kotikd- how do you test for progesterone? Hopefully this will be your month!! Baby dust sent your way!!
I'm sure this should be ok but I'm CD 3 and DH has to go out of town this coming week for work :( he will be back either CD 11-12. My cycles (last 2 is all I have record of because prior to that I had mirena and no periods) were 36 days and 31 days. I used an opk last month and it had me ovulating on CD15. What do you guys think?? I hope it doesn't mess us up :(

jpm: Its a blood test (progesterone). I think you can also do a saliva test but here it costs money while the blood test is free.
I think you will be just fine, make sure to BD when he gets back until the 1-2 days after your +OPK :)

My resolution, my main one is to not let ttc get me so depressed. I refuse to let it bring me down like it has the past two years, which I feel I essentially wasted. I am trying to enjoy the small moments instead of getting upset about something I can't totally control.

Hello ladies.. was in September board but looks like im joining the October baby board now. If I were to conceive my EDD would be 10/7. I don't have hope this cycle because I plan to be out of town during my fertile days. Im debating if I should bring my opk with me and check or just let it go. Thinking about jus leaving it to chance this month. Oh boy I know when my AF shows im going to regret it though. Sigh.. just ready to have a healthy happy pregnancy.

amommysluv-

I totally understand where you are coming from! Due to weather conditions my DH was supposed to be gone just until CD 11- now he will be back CD11 but will have to be gone on CD 15 too. Should only be one night though but that is when I O'd last month. Hopefully we can get some quality time in there but this is kind of what happened last month and we were unsuccessful. But I am thinking I may leave it up to chance as well. I think what is most important is we try to relax about it and let nature take its course :)

pbc: I know what you mean, I look back on most of the last year and I feel like I wasted it in a coma. Avoiding things just in case I am pregnant, that is no way to live.
So about a couple of months ago I started acupuncture, and reduced the supplements, a couple of weeks ago I started working out daily, and I feel so much better. Everytime I think, what if I am, I just think that if it is meant to be it will be and try to live my life.
I hope you feel better this year, and hope you get a BFP very very soon!

amommy: a break can be nice, continue to BD every chance you get just don't stress over the timing. Leaving it to chance can be quite exciting. As for AF, it hurts no matter whether you did everything in your power or not. I found last month when I took a break that AF hurts less when you did not do every single thing in the book :)
Instead of regret a new hope and plan should form :)
I still hope you will get a BFP from the days you do have. Also ovulation is often delayed by travel, maybe you won't ovulate until you come back.

jpm: just like I told amommy, all you can do is BD on the days you have, our body does miracles and sperm can live 3 days in good CM, so think about taking care of yourself so that you have good CM and not about whether or not you can hit the ovulation day.
Even if we everything right, there is only 20% of a BFP, so our job is to take care of ourselves to increase the chances.
Baby dust!

AFM: I think I am somewhere in DPO's second day of high temps, 4th days since +OPK. This is my first cycle with seed cycling and normally they say it takes like 3 months to see a change but I ovulated on CD15 which is very early for me, and I have progesterone signs, I think (I hope), like my nipples hurt which is nor normal for me.
I will be testing progesterone this cycle, what do you think start DPO count from day after +OPK or from first day of high temps?
Anyway baby dust to all!!!

Thanks for all the positivity!!! It helps.

I think I would start counting from once you started getting high temps because a + OPK means you will be ovulating in like 12-36 hours- whereas the high temp means it's occurred. So I'd count the first day of high temp as DPO 1. Just from all the things I've read :) hoping for a BFP soon for you!!

jpm: It sounds like a good plan. You are right ovulation occurs 12-36 hours after positive OPK, but sometimes ovulation delays and another positive OPK can occur later in the cycle, that is why it is good to temp because when temps go up and stay up you know you ovulated.
Baby dust :)

I'm officially here for October.

Another clomid/trigger/IUI cycle in the works. Our wedding anniversary is 10/16 and October is my favorite month, so I wouldn't be mad at an October baby.
