Anyone out there with epilepsy trying to get pregnant? On meds?

Hi. You might want to talk to your MD before attempting a pregnany. Most anti-seizure meds have been known to cause birth defects. Some women who have seizure disorders do become pregnant and have healthy pregnancies. The few women I have known have been required to come off their meds. You probably need to talk to both your neurologists and OB/GYN. Most OBs are not going to be knowledgeable in all the anti-convuls. meds out there.
