Prenatal vitamins??

Does anyone know if taking prenatal vitamins while TTC will improve my chances of getting pregnant? Similarly, if I don't take prenatal vitamins while TTC, will it lower my chances of getting pregnant?

Hi,

Prenatal vitamins probably will not help your chances of getting pregnant. They encourage you to take them because of the folic acid. Folic acid is very important very early in pregnancy. It helps prevent disease such as spina bifida. If you eat a diet with lots of folic acid then you are probably ok. Most MDs will suggest you take one while attempting to get pregnant.

If you do not want to take a prenatal or for some reason are unable to you can take 2 kids chewables. I do this because my stomach has a hard time with prenatals.

Hope this helps,

Angel

It depends on the person. Some doctors say yes but some say not. I have been taking some for the past 2 months and i feel so much better and i have noticed a differance in my cm. Which is good becasue it helps me to see when Im fertile. I take prenatal and multi vit.
