Sep-Dec 2017 summary

As you may know, I'm recently diagnosed Diabetic with Ac1 6.5 and I weigh 210 lb.
After our trips We decided to postpone any vacations 'till I loss at least 20-30 lb, so we can continue with IUI's.
I came a cross Weight Loss Center near me, and decide to give it a try.

Consultation appointment ($135) covered:
- Phentermine 37.5 mg (15 tablets and they are taken 1/2 pill at 10am and 2pm with meal)
- Lipo-Shot, single dose (that cost $10, I took double so I paid $10 extra)
and they prescribed me:
- Metformin 500 mg (approx. $30 at any pharmacy; 60 tablets, that are taken twice a day with meal)
- Lipo-BC, a dietary supplement same as Lipo-Shot ($20, that is taken once a day with meal)

I have to say, I feel great! Today is my 12th day of this regiment and I'm 203.3 lb.
No workouts, just walking around my house. And to lose so much weight in almost two weeks?!
I never expected this result. Also, I tested my blood glucose with AccuCheck and it was 5.5!!!
I'm back to Normal :)

This new adventure is very exciting and looks VERY promising!
My goal is to reach Normal weight for my hight of 5"1' (132 lb) and from what I've seen I can reach it in no time.

Since, there is no study showing that it's safe or not to be taking Phentermine or Metformin while pregnant; we'll pause TTC until I lose at least 30 lb and A1c result is back to normal.

UPDATE on Sep 21st, 2017
It's been a three weeks since I last weighted 210 lb, and I have never been better!
Today, I weight 200.5 pounds!!!
Next week on Th is my 3rd visit to WLC; I'm looking forward to more weight loss :)

My A1c is down to 5.9; and I'm 197 lbs.

I decided to stop taking Phentermine, because, I noticed hair loss around my forehead. When I mentioned this new discovery to my friends, they got very worried and urged me to stop taking Phentermine. Apparently, lots of them had a very bad incounters with that drug. It turnes out that some had a cousins that used it, and now they are eather dead, or have a liver issues, some of the friends gained lost pounds and plus, or had a rash all over their bodies...
Thankfully, so far, I had only good outcomes from this medication. I lost close to 20 pounds! I didn't drink alcohol, or abused it in anyway. Only reason I'm stopping, is because of hair loss, that can be associated to any medication regiment. I just want to take a break from it, plus I want to get ready for IUI this period.
