And just like that...

Well, our "finally" BFP didn't last long. Yesterday, at exactly 5 weeks I woke up with excruciating pain and heavy bleeding. Hubby took me to the hospital and blood work and ultrasound confirmed what we already knew - early miscarriage. They checked to make sure it wasn't an ectopic pregnancy - no signs of it - and that everything was leaving my uterus as it should - which seems to be. We are going to take a couple months off from TTC to give my body a break and let our hearts heal.
