Passing Time And Fighting Nightmares
Trying to keep my mind occupied lately. Only 11 more days until my first ultrasound which I'm super excited for but... Vivid dreams are nothing new to me. But there was one a few days ago that I remember- one scene in particular- very clearly. I was 6 weeks and I miscarried. I won't go into horrid details but I'll just say that it's left me shaken up. I didn't have this fear with DS but I'm thinking that it's maybe because he wasn't planned. Maybe that's what has me clinging so tightly to this baby. The fact that he or she was tried for and after months of disappointment, finally getting something you've wanted for so long is more precious than the unexpected gift. Don't misunderstand! I love my son more than anything and I'm not in ANY was saying that this baby means more to me than he does. It's just the only way I can think to put this. You know? Saving up for something versus just having it handed to you? The thing itself is still super special to you. It's just... Different.
I don't know... Just a little rant I guess.
Been looking to find a bigger place still. I did learn that my little brother will be moving out to go back to living with my parents so that makes it a little less crowded here. A two bedroom is fine for DH, myself, and two babies but I would much rather have at least a three bedroom. Especially since DSD wants her own room when she visits. Lol! Eight year old girls should have their own space. And she's very vocal about it!
I made a paper chain to count down the weeks. It'll have to be adjusted (probably) once I get an exact due date. Right now, it's just going off of my CDTP predicted date. Doing days was WAY too long. HAHA!
Been crocheting though. :) I bought a bunch of yarn to keep busy. I still have so many that need to be done by next Christmas for the family. And pretty soon I'll be making another. A little one for this little one.
Now to see how it plays out for DS being a big brother... *Insert 'Oh Boy...'*

Our LO's are pretty close in age and we such tender care for stuffed animals that it makes us even more upset that we haven't conceived yet. Your son will be fine and is likely to change a lot in the next 7-8 months before his sibling is born and plenty of time to get used to it. H&H9M!!
