Just to give you all some hope...
I was TTC on this site.. recorded my efforts through posts. 8.5 yrs later... And I'm currently 37+6 days pregnant... Waiting on the birth of my first wee girl on 10th December.
I had given up hope so many times... And when it happened it was a complete shock... Especially as I wasn't very trying.
I'm 39 yrs old now and gonna be a single mum.
My ex husband decided he didn't want to pursue IVF . I had to respect that... Equally I had still to at least try myself.. we split but remain friends.
This baby is to be born from a short relationship after.. the dad wants no involvement and no more kids... We had split before I knew I was pregnant.
I have since met a man who raises his own four kids..and we are very happy.. he is happy to love another child as his own... I suddenly jump from having no kids ... To my own kid... Plus five kids in total between us.
Who says miracles don't happen?
I have my tests and scans etc under my profile.
Years and years is a long time to wait... Sometimes you have to take control of your own fate...one or two simple things in my life changed and now it's gonna change forever

@Skelly thank you for share your store and congrats on your wee one December is a good month! Plus the edition of your other family.

Any of you ladies expecting AF in the next week/will begin testing in the next few days? I start to get antsy and impatient a week before AF is supposed to show.

Well my cycles haven’t been regular yet so I have had anywhere from a 36-42 day cycle. Today is cycle day 42. AF should be showing today or tomorrow. So far I don’t have much to report. I have been nauseous for the last three days. Today I am a little crampy with a very wet egg white cm which is odd for me. I am not going to test until Monday if I can help it. I don’t currently have any tests so that helps to keep me from testing like a crazy lady.

I know how disheartening I can be to look at blank tests etc... I know how hard the road is so I wish u all well and hope Ur journey's end with the joy of a little one.

@ShayGosney yes! I had to stop buying tests because I am totally addicted. Trying to wait until AF is 100% missed before even buying a test is torture. I still have about a week before then.

@TS I am 5 dpo and trying not to symptom spot. My AF if it comes will be December 3rd. I'm going to try not to test before then but I may break down and test earlier if symptoms continue to be knocking at my door and my temps dont show AF coming either. I have a huge wedding to attend with an open bar on December 7th which is also my 35th. So, I definately will have an answer before that date for sure.

@Shay 3 days of nausea that's a good shy. Fingers cross she stays away.

Well AF is still not here. I woke up this morning and after a couple minutes was very nauseous until I was able to get some food. Had some cramping last night but it was almost more of a burning sensation in my lower abdomen. My cervix is still extremely high too. I am trying desperately to wait to test. I don’t want to look at another negative. If I can make it next weekend without testing and without AF showing then I will test. It is so hard not knowing.

A little back story for myself. I had the Mirena iud in for four years and had it taken out this last May. I didn’t get any bleeding after until The end of July. It then took another 42 days cycle before AF showed again. From September to October it was only 36 days. Now I am on day 43.....hoping it is all figured out and this is my month, but I am not going to hold my breath right now. I will never get the Mirena iud again!!

@bugttc I have a hard time not symptom spotting too. I try to look for any reason to start testing. I currently don’t have any tests at home though, so hoping that keeps me from testing this early.

@Shay you have some will power! I would be testing already, but I totally understand the not wanting to see another negative. I’m estimated at 9dpo and already getting anxious to test.

Help me out some ladies. I was shopping with my sister and she needed a test so I went ahead and got some too. I swear I see something very faint, but I don’t want to get excited. This was late after noon so I will test again in the morning too!
