@Tashuurr- I agree, we do seem to be having a lot of trouble between us. I'm sorry that I was correct, unfortunately I have too much experience with the cysts... I hope the pain stays away and you have an uneventful rest of the pregnancy. And yay for your scan! I'm excited to hear how that goes!

Hi ladies. How are you both?

I had the 12 week scan yesterday and everything is going well with baby. I can’t believe how much it has grown since the last scan 2 weeks ago. They dared me 4 days ahead so now EDD is 14th May.
They rescanned the cyst and it is still the same size which now means because it’s still so big I have to go under consultant care for the remainder of my pregnancy. Disappointing but have to do whatever is safest for this little one. Midwife said they will sort out some kind of care plan for me for the rest of the pregnancy and how we should proceed because of the cyst. Due it’s size there is increased risk of problems as baby gets bigger which may put pressure on the cyst. Not nice to hear but I hope baby will be okay.
Other than that it lovely to see baby dancing around on the screen. Opening its mouth and doing somersaults haha. Baby didn’t keep still through the whole scan which made it difficult for the sonographer to get images, but it means we got to see it for longer so we aren’t complaining.

@Tashuurr- I am so happy to hear that all is well with the peanut and that it was so active. It's unfortunate that the cyst has stayed the same and could cause problems for you but you will be getting monitored more closely, which I think is a good thing.

Any future appointments regarding your care due the fibroids?

I have not heard from the specialist yet to schedule my first appt with them, I'm hoping to hear from them early this week. I am anxious to have my next ultrasound to see if they are still growing and what they say about what to expect. Otherwise things seem to be going well, although due to the pregnancy now being high risk we have decided to cancel the wedding and just have us and our parents and siblings, so that has kinda sucked.

I hope you hear from soon because it’s nice to be about to put anxiety about aside and ease your mind.
That’s a shame about your wedding but hopefully you can have a nice intimate affair and then have a huge celebration once baby is born and your complete family can all be apart of it.

Thank you Tashuurr, I'm hoping to have some of my anxiety relieved when I do finally see the specialist. That's kinda the plan now with the wedding, we are planning on having the big celebration on our anniversary now. It will all work out one way or another.

@Tashuurr that's great your scan went well and all good with baby! Sorry to hear about the cyst still being the same size and needing to be under consultant care, but like you say as long as baby is ok that's the main thing.

@Prayingfor1 hope you're doing well and sorry to hear about the fibroids they've found, hope you get news of your next scan soon and there's some improvement. A small wedding sounds lovely and a big celebration on your anniversary is a great idea :)

As for me, not much to report, nausea has now passed, but already getting so out of breath going up stairs etc and dreadful back ache this week from carrying our daughter so having to tell her I can't carry her so much now which she wasn't impressed with! Going to get a prenatal yoga/Pilates dvd to try and do in the evenings as have a desk job and got so achy when pregnant with our daughter trying not to make that mistake again and be more active!

@gemstone glad you’re doing well. Good to hear the nausea has passed.

AFM my symptoms seem to be getting bad again. I felt rubbish yesterday. I went for a meal with my best friend and after I finished and put the cutlery down the meal made a second appearance right there and then :( I was so gutted. I went home starving haha

@Gemstone2907- I have been thinking of getting one of those videos as well. If you get it soon let me know how you like it.

@Tashuurr- That's so disappointing that the nausea is coming back so strongly. I thought that the second trimester was supposed to be easier. I have been counting on that!

AFM the exhaustion is still just as bad but the nausea seems to have let up a bit in the last week or so. My breasts are so horribly painful that I have started using ice on them. Oh and they have a strange smell, I'm not sure if it's because of leaking but it seems like that has stopped for now. My blood pressure is still good but I have already started swelling some days, yesterday I had to take my ring off while out shopping because my fingers suddenly swelled and I was afraid it would get stuck.
