Dragonfly, I read that if you have three days of low temps followed by three days of higher temps, then you probably ovulated. I think you're probably right about O day.

@burn2ash- Here's hoping we both get through it unscathed. Unfortunately I work as medical personnel at a hospital so evacuation is not an option for me.

@dragonfly23- You were correct lol. I forgot who wrote what. I hope you o'ed on the right day and what you are experiencing is implantation.

I got a new thermometer today (even with a hurricane heading my way gotta keep my priorities straight lol), I tested with both at the same time and the old 1 seemed to have rounded up. That's not helpful! I also started using opk's for the first time this evening. Got the expected negative so that's good. Hopefully I won't be one of those women with PCOS that can't use them. My Dr wants me to try them so between that and temping we can hopefully see if I am ovulating or not.

Well ladies, I think AF is coming. My CM has become more red :( weird cycle. And we won't be able to try for a while now with us being semi-long distance until December. I'll let you know if it doesn't progress though and I'll stay on this website regardless.

I guess I will go with the blood clot rule for now. No cramping.

@mrsbutler- I'm sorry if it turns out to be AF. Maybe it won't be and it will turn out to just be a bit of light bleeding or spotting. I feel for you on the long distance issue, that must be really difficult since you were TTC. My fiance may be switching to a traveling job soon that would put him gone for months at a time too. Every 6 weeks or so they would fly one of us out to see the other but it would make TTC very difficult.

@mrsbutler. Thank you for the info. I wasn't sure on that part. I'm sure some woman have asked and I've Googled too, but when the temp is low and spikes the next day. Does the high temp mean the egg was already released? I'm curious as I like to know what the probability is or percentage of conceiving is (more things to drive myself cazy with) lol. I hope this spotting doesn't turn to clots. It happend to me the one month (before temping/vitamins) where I had a ton of creamy/lotiony cm and then it turned out I got my period. Definately keep us posted on how things are going.

@Prayingfor1. Good luck with the Ovulation strips and hope you get all the answers you are looking for. I've never used them and sure it will be a benefit for collecting data in a way of knowing when we ovulate. Hope you and your loved ones are safe.

Tonight since I've been home from work, I'm still cramping and a I was feeling moist, so I checked and it was like a watery lotiony cm then I checked again shortly after and there was a tiny glob of what looked like stretchy snot (tmi) that did't break. Didn't look like the flour/water mixture like last time. Breasts and even the nipples had spurts of soreness. Will see what tomorrow brings for temps and symptoms.

Thanks so much for all of the support y'all have provided. I know I said earlier in the month that I didn't think it would happen this month because of timing and not being able to pinpoint O, but when it was this late I got really hopeful and I'm feeling pretty down now. It's weird that my boob's still hurt and the bloody CM hasn't hit the toilet yet, but I'm not trying to keep myself on a limb here. Probably just need to move on.

Dragonfly, I'm under the impression that the egg is released the same day of the temp dip. It has to do with the hormonal changes. I've looked into it before; when I get on my laptop tomorrow, I'll try to find the webpage I saw about it and post it to this forum.

this is the third day spotting I keep thinking she came but still just spotting
I don't feel AF pain at all, just sore breast, nausea, headache and just recently for 2 days now my legs feel very achy especially at night. and my hands sometimes too which I never felt before ever.

I tested today still negative no Af just spotting and Af is suppose to be here tomorrow which will be CD 30

Morning ladies. Another day of the same temp (97.9); so that makes three days in a row and to me that is very weird. I will list my CDs from day 1 till now:

Day 1 (AF)- 97.7
Day 2- 97.6
Day 3- 96.5
Day 4- 97.9
Day 5- 97.9
Day 6- 97.4
Day 7- 97.4
Day 8- 97.9
Day 9- 97.7 (BD)
Day 10- 98.1
Day 11- 97.4 (BD)
Day 12- 97.5
Day 13- 97.3 (BD)
Day 14- 97.5
Day 15- 97.6 (suspected Ovulation)
Day 16- 97.9 (BD; no insemination)
Day 17- 97.9
Day 18- 97.9 (Today)

Maybe someone has some insight on what is going on and I know temping isn't for everyone. My cycles seem to average 26-28 days. Will see if I get any symptoms today.

@mrsbutler. Oh that will be good. I just saw that they don't allow HTML or Links; but won't hurt to try it. I hope that AF stays away for you and that it doesn't get heavy and/or with clots. It is weird that it hasn't hit the toilet yet; hmm...

@xSharky. Keeping my fingers crossed for you as well that AF doesn't show up tomorrow. Achy legs and all the other symptoms seem like it's a good sign.
