Thanks to everyone for the well wishes! It's CD 25 and still getting positive dip sticks with the line becoming more visible. The support has meant so much to me. It is nice to be able to share this stage of things, tough to keep it secret from the rest of the world! Only DH knows, he read more FRER test for me.

Fingers crossed for those entering the 2ww. I just wanted to mention that although I wasn't temping this month every morning last week I woke up feeling hot which was strange as with it being fall the nights are getting colder. There was was bug going around at work so I thought I was coming down with something.

For those about to O, wishing you lots of fun BDing for the next few days.

For those waiting to trigger for IUI, wishing you a smooth procedure and lots of success.

purelex: Thanks a million for letting me know about the Stingray city in Grand Cayman islands. OMG! I am just getting excited looking at the pics of kissing and hugging the stingrays. I wish I could have them in my backyard pool. I need to plan to visit the "Stingray city" for our next big vacation! Enjoy the wedding at Portland!!!

AFM: I messed up my bbt too for this month so solely relying on CB advanced purple opk test. I am 1-2 dpo and officially in the TWW.

Hi all! Hope you don't mind another new face. DW and I are ttc baby #2. We conceived our DD via at home insemination with a known donor last year. (I was a regular around here then and the support is amazing!) She is now 7 months old. Didn't think we'd be trying again so soon (I exclusively breastfeed). But my cycle resumed a few months ago. And considering my age (38) and our non-conventional conception method, we decided to start trying I immediately. Before pregnancy I had a very regular cycle, ov on cd 14. I haven't leveled back out yet and temping isn't really reliable with an infant that doesn't yet sleep through the night. So who knows how this will go. Today is CD 14, waiting on a positive opk. Last month I ov'd on day 18, month before wasn't until day 24. Hoping to get back to normal soon.

Clarabelle I am so glad your temp peak . Mine went a little higher but I think I am officially 2DPO because the peak was observed yesterday.

I'm feeling a little down after an incident today at work. Some history, though... for those that may not know, DH and I are TTC #1 and I got my first BFP on Easter of this year. Unfortunately, I miscarried at 8 weeks (beginning of May). Needless to say, it was heartbreaking and those who knew (my mom, mostly) were less than supportive. She wasn't trying to be insensitive but it was really hard to hear "well if it was meant to be..." or "well you should just let it happen naturally instead of trying" or her basically making it sound like it was my fault somehow.

Anyway, a few weeks later, a woman at work asked if I had any news I wanted to share with the group at the end of one of our meetings that morning. I said no... apparently, she thought I was pregnant because she saw me wearing "flow-y" tops to work. I suppose I was a little bloated and such still and it hurt a little given the recent situation but she didn't know any different. It was mostly embarrassing to be asked that in a conference room with other people around.

Fast forward to today, I'm in the break room at work on a personal phone call (our AC unit is dying and we're having to replace it) and a woman who I used to be teammates with says, "Congratulations!" Of course, I respond with, "For what?" and she gets that look on her face. She tells me that she thought the shirt I was wearing made me look like I was pregnant. Note, this time it wasn't flow-y but a form fitting tank top with a low cut sleeveless shirt over it.

Sigh. It was a bit of a double whammy. I am overweight (a size 8, I should probably be a 4 or 6) and it reminded me of how I've failed to shed the pounds recently (at least I'm not still gaining.. small wins!). Then it reminded me of the fact that I'm still not pregnant and I would have been pretty far along had the miscarriage not happened.

It got me wondering if people are just seeing what they want to see... a younger, childless woman who must obviously want children so they're just watching and waiting. I don't know what annoys me more... their assumption that I want to have children or the fact that they're right, haha.

Sorry for the long rant. I just had to get this off my chest. On a more positive note, my lack of symptoms is pretty promising so far. Normally I start having PMS symptoms around this time but I'm feeling pretty normal aside from being tired, which could be work related. I did sleep really hot last night but it was pretty warm in general since it's the tail end of summer here. Trying not to get my hopes up too high!

Purelex - I'm sorry you had a rough day. People can be insensitive, even if it is unintentional. And please don't get down on yourself about weight! Size 8 is hardly overweight. I'm a size 12. And it's not due to pregnancy, I'm smaller now than pre-pregnancy (breastfeeding perk). We deal with so much in this process the last thing we need is others making comments about their perceptions. Also, didn't their mommas ever tell them not to refer to a woman's weight?!

I'm so very sorry for your loss earlier. Best wishes for your rainbow!!

Purelex - Some people just insensitive and don't consider what could be going on in the back ground. I'm so sorry someone made you feel that way.

Your loss was in no way you fault Sometimes people don't realize the the pain that lies underneath the happy exterior and don't realize the impact of the careless things they say.

Sorry purlex that you have to deal with people like that. For me, people at work assume pregnancy whenever I complain about something. Like a backache or upset stomach.

So my check went well. I had 4 follicles this time, 3 on the left and 1 on the right. All were 17-18 mm. So I was told to trigger tomorrow night, then go in first thing Thursday morning. Was hoping for Wednesday, but there is not going to be anyone there to do the sperm washing until Thursday.

I have twice the amount of follicles this time, I am hoping that means I have double the chance of it working this round.
