This Will Be Our First IUI cycle, so we are anxious but hopeful. Have now been on femera for 11 months, really hoping to find the baby dust this time. So sorry for your loss and good luck going forward.

AFM - Dr's visit went okayl, he doesn't have the greatest bed side manor. It was difficult to tell him that I want to be followed by a midwife, here we have to choose 1 or the other, the midwife takes over after the initial with the Dr. He sent me for some blood tests (but not HCG, they just did a urine test) and has requested an early US to check for an ectopic, so we will know for sure on the 13th October... going to be a long wait!

Contemplating - I'm so excited for you.

AFM, three more weeks of pills before I can go off of them and hope I ovulate like crazy. I'm at the desperation point that I actually wouldn't mind having twins. I hope I'm dropping all kinds of eggs. I just wanted one last one before, but now I want tons of babies. These empty arms ache every day. :(

My hubby panics a little whenever I say that. I have four stepchildren and one grown son, so I haven't had a baby to cuddle in a long time but we have a full house. He's just gonna have to deal lol.

Itching to start testing. I was hoping to wait until Monday which will be my 9 DPO if my calculations are right about my ovulation but I might start tomorrow with FMU. Let s hope for those

Contemplating - I hear Vancouver ers a nice city. I haven't been there before. I've mostly stayed out east. I'm sorry the Dr didn't have the best bedside manner. I hope your midwife is a lot better.

Gettingby2005 - welcome. I hope your IUI cycle goes well and you get a BFP at the end. Did you use a trigger shot with the femera?

AFM - I had my IUI today. I think we got the timing right but DH's numbers weren't great. He got a bad cold this month and they said that probably is what affected the numbers. I'm still hoping that we managed to catch the egg.

Margie - Sorry your DH was sick. I hope it has no bearing on your chances this month!!

Latlou - Did you cave and test today? FX it eventually turns into a BFP!!

Calvin - I totally feel ya! I used to only want just one. Now I'd love nothing more than a full house! I wish we hadn't waited until I was approaching 40 to start a family. Still hoping we can have at least one, if not two, more!

Contemplating - Sorry about the doc. Awesome that you get a choice of switching to a midwife. I wish we had that option! I would have to pay privately for one. I have an acquaintance that's a doula and was supposed to be there for my first but she happened to be out of town when I went in labor. Not sure how much she would've helped, I ended up having to have an emergency C-section :( Hoping I'm able to have a VBAC if I get lucky enough to have a second!

Shanana - It is so great to have other ladies who don't judge me for being obsessive over every little thing! I'm not sure I would've made it through the first time ttc if it weren't for communities like this! Good Luck :)

AFM - Finally got a + opk Friday and was able to get another "donation" that night. I had such horrible cramps Friday night that I was certain my body was still acting crazy and af would've arrived yesterday but no sign of her. So I guess they were really bad ov pains. I usually have slight cramps, but never that intense. Maybe a good sign for a strong ov?? Who knows. This site has me at 1 dpo but FF hasn't confirmed yet. Pretty sure that's accurate though judging from my body. So tww....here I am!

Hello, I not been around too much. I been doing lots of crocheting keeping myself occupied.. haha I have been taking Vitex last 2 months.. I think it finally started working as I ovulated on cd 15 this cycle.. yah! we only bd on cd 9 and cd 15. So hopefully I still have a chance this cycle. If I knew I was going to ovulated early this cycle (15 is early for me compared to last few cycles) then we would have had a few more bds in before o day. So today I am 5dpo. I'm feeling hopeful..

AFM I've been out of town this weekend but brought IC to test and I think the hcg trigger is finally out of my system. It's kinda sad to see BFN after seeing (false) BFP for a week but I'm hoping I see that second line again soon! I'm 7dpo today so it's still early for me too.

clarabelle I agree it was still too early. Especially since I am not 100% sure of my ovulation day. But i will keep on testing and we will see.
