@Texasgirl - are you looking at the NEDC?

Hey ladies! Wow - so much going on on this board!

@Basia - nothing yet on the grant - we should know by the end of July.

AFM - we are just on hold right now. We will do a consult with our St Louis doctor next Friday on the phone. And then we will keep trying on our own and see where we get financially with our grant. Outside of fertility stuff, my life has been really stressful. My dad has been diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver. And we aren't sure how much time he has left. That's been difficult and emotional. And my brother and sister-in-law don't feel like DH and I have been supportive enough of their pregnancy. Just lots of crap going down right now.

I'm also trying to work less so we are on extreme budget lockdown and testing out the month of July to see how we do! ha.

Anyway, sorry I know that's all pretty debbie downer stuff.

Hopefully soon we will have great news! I would love to be able to tell my dad we are expecting before he passes away.

~K

@while- Oh my goodness, your post broke my heart. I am so sad to read about your dad. I cannot even imagine. I am so sorry. I pray you get the necessary time with him and are able to cope with this news.

Does your brother and SIL know what you and DH are going through? If so, I am very sorry they have said that. I think it's very insensitive of them. I was so lucky with my SIL when she was pregnant. She was very thoughtful towards me, and i just thought, wow, if she weren't this way, this would be so hard.

I sincerely hope you get your BFP and can share that news with your dad.

Thinking of you. XOXO

While - so sorry that your dad is sick and you are going through that now. It is difficult to be happy for others when you struggle to get pregnant. It is bitter sweet situation. Hopefully you will get some good news at the end of July. Hugs

While, I am really sorry for your dad and the hard time you pass. I didnt understand what you said about your brother and SIL, do they know about your tries and they are not supportive? Dont expect things from others, sometimes you will be disappointed. The most important thing is to be happy with your husband. I hope soon things will get better for you and the family gets larger with the coming of your baby! Stay in touch dear!

Texas, I hope that you find the egg soon!

Catemat, I am glad you sound calm and optimistic!

Margie, it is great that you enjoyed your vacation! I am too looking forward to relaxing! I had in mind to rest for few days in the mid July, but potical developments changed my plans. For sure I will have days off at the end of August. We will spend it in my mom' s house, where the beach is not far away.

Jackie, as I missed the chance to have the IVF before August, I will have it on September. They told me to call them at the mid Aug to tell me when to start the meds.

Basia, we too want to touch your belly and say STICK BABIES STICK!!!!

LS, yes I am freaked!!!!! Especially today when I got the first pack of meds which were 100 injections (I dont know why are so many! I think I was approved for two tries, so will I need 50?).
I was also freaked yesterday when I saw other women being prepared for entering the surgery. Instead of thinking that it is for good, I remembered myself entering the surgery room for the tumour. That was a nightmare!

I am moving too to JULY' s forum, expecting many BFPs!

While - My heart goes out to you. I hope that you have enough time with your father to give him the good news. I know all about unsupportive siblings but I'm sorry you're going through all of this at the same time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I really hope that we both get good news at the end of this month.

Kethryes - I'm still on vacation I just didn't have Internet for the first few days of it. It's nice to be relaxing and not worried about everything. I have been hearing regularly about the situation in your country. I really hope you're ok and everything gets sorted soon.

AFM - My temp finally spiked up today. I'll see what it does over the next few days but I think we've covered our bases. Now it's just the wait. I'll also jump over to the July board.

Thank you ladies so much for your encouraging words. Yes, my brother and SIL know about our losses and our fertility struggles. It's just a really tough situation. He sent me an email and I am going to work on a draft of responding tonight. I don't want to say too much and cause damage and ultimately I know he just can't understand because he hasn't experienced it. Their baby is due in October. I am going to a baby shower this weekend for her, so hopefully things won't be too awkward or difficult.

@Basia - how are you doing in your wait?

I am so grateful for you ladies and getting to draw off of everyone's expertise and thoughts. Thank you so much for your support.

I hope we all get awesome BFPs soon with sticky beans! (-:

I will also paste this in the July board. (-:

While - So sorry to here about your dad. I can't imagine facing news like that as you're trying to process your own struggles too. So very sorry.

Re: your SIL. That must be so difficult. I totally agree with your last post, they cannot fully ever understand what you guys are dealing with. Especially with people close to you it must feel very bitter-sweet, happy for them on one hand, but in other ways probably not really. I felt really bitter of my two sister-in-laws. I hate saying that but I did. I was totally resentful and couldn't get into the "pregnancy" stuff like I would have otherwise. I get how you're feeling...so sorry you're struggling with that...
