So here's a story for you guys. (-: So we aren't doing fertility treatment this month, but DH and I will be on a church youth choir trip as sponsors during my fertile days. We will be staying at a hotel with teenagers. So, I am buying our own hotel room for DH and I for two of the nights so that we can sneak off to BD and at least still try this month so it won't be a loss. Fingers crossed. It will be cheaper than our IUIs! (-:

Has anyone had their DH do a DNA frag sperm analysis? That's what we are doing next month.

While: if you know what meds you will need for the cycle, you could make a post about it and maybe could get some of it donated. If I get a BFP I would be willing to ship you the 8 x 600IU of Follistim and HCG trigger I have. I am blessed with fertility coverage. Just a thought! We are all here to support each other!

Also, just had the standard SA done as I am the source of our infertility.

Margie--I can understand your disappointment with the count. My DH's second last count was 1.5 and it was hard. My clinic still is happy with >5, so you're still in the "good-books" at our practice. Will be praying for you this month!

While - Nice to hear you and DH are involved in a youth group! That's where my husband and I met :) I think your idea to try naturally is a good one! We had a detailed sperm count and analysis done (including morphology, motility, etc) but not a DNA sperm analysis done (I don't think?). As Jackie, I'm also the source of the infertility, however he did manage to have that really low count during our first IUI (1.5).

Jackie's suggestion was awesome, and I second that. I have 800u of Follistism in my fridge right now and if I get a BFP I'd be happy to send it to whoever in this group may benefit from it.

Jackie - I hear ya with the noticing every little pull and pinch. When are you scheduled to test? Sorry if I missed that. I'll be testing June 10th.

Girls I just want to put out there that as soon as you open Follistim it goes bad after 28 days. And so do many other hormones.
I will most likely have leftovers of (unless we go for another IVF):
Follistim 900 units x3
Progesterone in sesame oil
Ganirelix - 2
Estrogen patches - 4 boxes

I'm willing to share those with you ladies :). I will know in a month if I will need them or not

One more thing. If you are shipping Follistim to someone keep it refrigerated as it will go bad. So do next day delivery and send it with some ice.

Basia- The Lupron injections weren't a problem for me. They didn't burn like the Ganirelix. They did cause me to break out on my face and chest though which was sucky. Good luck with your second IVF rounds this month! I hope this one works out for you!!!

Cate: I will test on June 5th which would put me at 13DPO .. If I can hold out. I am a total POAS addict. . My periods are so irregular not sure when to really consider myself late... although the IUI cycles help because I know I ovulated. In my first two cycles, AF showed at 14DPO and 17DPO.

Thanks Lulu :). I did 2 lupron injections so far and they are ok.
I just get red spot and a dot 15 min after injection and it itches for few minutes.

Margie_M My RE said they've done studies and anything over 8M makes no difference in pregnancy rates. 8,000,000 has the same success rates as 180,000,000. So you're good!

AFM, I may have Lyme disease, so I'll be testing early tomorrow before starting antibiotics. I'll be 10 or 11dpo tomorrow, so that may not be late enough to be conclusive. I guess I'll ask if I can either wait for a couple of days to start the antibiotics (doxycycline) or take something that's okay during pregnancy just in case until I can know for sure. Although the way my luck goes, I'm sure this cycle was just another failure in a long long string of heartache.

Essemkay - thanks I actually feel ok this month I'm hopeful that this is it. I'm sorry to hear you have Lyme disease. Was it from a tick bite? They're everywhere this year.
