Tww after iui with trigger ovidrel
After conceiving naturrally and quickly twice i had To seek help from a fertility spécialist (after trying for 14 months). We underwent all the testing and nothing is wrong with me or my partner... except for my age (41)... so this cycle a took letrozole from cd3 To cd7 then went for ultrasound on cd11 ... i had only 2 follies one at 17 mm and one 13mm on each side. they told me To do the trigger shot at cd12 at 10 pm and sent in for iui at 10am cd14....now the waiting game... and they said i can only test 16 days after iui...im at cd22...i'm going crazy wondering if it did work. .. Anybody else out there with similar story and did it turn out being a bfp ?

No unfortunately that round was hot succesfull ! I had my second round of letrozole and a shot ovidrel the same morning of my ultrasound on cd11 and insémination the following morning... had one follie mesuring 24... that time it worked... im now 11weeks +4 d pregnant

Wow so glad I read this. First of all congratulations!! I've got an appointment in two weeks with a fertility specialist. I'm also 41 TTC my first. We've only been trying for 5 months but I'm afraid to wait to long to get help. I wonder how much to did have to go through before deciding on this specific protocol? What can I expect from this specialist besides testing hormone levels and DH sperm? I've already had fsh:lh tested by my obgyn which came back normal. Thanks for any advice and I hope some others respond to your post so I can learn more!

At thé fertility specialist, after the testing and that all the résults are in, you get a consult appointment to discuss the game plan... (after 6 months ttc usually for people of our age)... in my case the infertility was unexplained...all the test came back ok ... just that i had a decrease in egg supply due To my age ... so right away we went for iui with letrozole and ovidrel trigger... I got pregnant the second round !
