Hi, a positive OPK will usually happen about 36 hours before you ovulate which is the optimal time to BD if you are TTC. However that means the egg is actually released about 3 days later. I personnally get EWCM around the time of my LH surge (3 or 4 days before O) and then again on the day I ovulate (which is great for tracking now that I've noticed this consistent pattern). Maybe it is the same for you.
