The most reliable way to take BBT is rectally. This is also what I do.

Rectal is def most accurate, but between vag and oral, vag would be the better of the two. I did oral, but Im not a mouth breather so my temps always stayed fairly calm. Sounds like u made a good choice with switching tho.
Good luck! =))

I am a mouth breather I snore an have sleep apnea so wonder if this could be affecting my temps?? thinkin i'll just go back to vaginally next cycle

Mouth breathing definitely affects temps, its cooling the area that ur temping, so some days u temp after having ur mouth closed for a bit and some u temp right after snoring...u can get a huge diff in readings. As u have seen on ur charts. I think vag was a good decision.

If you tend to sleep with your mouth open it can cause erractic and high temperatures. I have read it is more reliable to temp vaginally.
