Question

WHEN TO START OPK"S?????

SO I AM GOING TO START USING OPKS THIS MONTH AS I HAVE BEEN TTC TO CONCIEVE SINCE MY MISCARRIAGE IN JANUARY WITH NO LUCK. WHEN DO I START USING THEM AND WHAT TIME OF DAY IS BEST TO TEST??

Read the packet for instructions on your tests as some are different. Optimum time for testing is usually ~2pm. Don't do it before 11am unless you are using multiple tests a day. When to start depends on your cycle. I started on CD7 as the earliest I ever ovulated was cd9. Once again the instruction for your leaflet for your tests will probably have a table showing when you should start based on your cycle. You need to be using them a few days before you ovulate. Most of the table indicate for you to start using them about a week before expected ovulation.

Just a couple of words of warning. You can have cycles where you never see a positive but do ovulate so make sure you don't rely on them 100%. You can also have an LH surge and not ovulate until much later. I definitely recommend charting your BBT as well so you know for sure what is going on.
