Crazy cycles please help!!!

I normally have 28 day cycles but last month's was 33 days when I set my app for my cycle for may should have calculated 28 or 33 days???

I used the calculator tool on this site to figure out my "average" amount of days for my cycles. I also had back and forth cycles....so I took my dates starting from November up until April, lowest being 27 days and highest 33! Gave me an average of 29 day cycles...
