Ovulation pain?

Well my cycles are average of 37 days . My period started on July 14 and on CD 19, August 2, I felt a sharp pinching/pulling pain the left side, but when I do the ovulation calculation it says my fertile days were the 1st-6th. Would you say that CD 19 I ovulated or do I go by the last day of the calculation? I had a similar experience last cycle too.
