How long should i wait to try having a baby again?

i had an ectopic pregnancy ad on the 29th nov had a laproscopy and salplinectomy, they removed my left tube, how long should i wait till getting pregnant?

did the doctor give any advice at all?? i would asume it would take 6 wks to heal from surgery first and then maybe begin trying again but most important to heal first.

nope, niether doctors or hospital have told me anything, been looking evrywhere on the internet but every site says something different, thankyou x

I had an eptopic 3 years ago, been trying ever since it seems like, I think everyone is different after the removal of my left tube I was told to wait 6-8 to have sex. Good luck!!! It is a very tricky situation when you are working with a little less but I remain hopeful.
