Basia: I live in BFE...aka South Dakota LOL

Good docs are in excess of 100 miles away. I did find another fertility doc that comes to a SD city about 200 miles from where I live. They are based out of Colorado....

I am pissed that my doc is pushing the IVF. He has been since the beginning to be honest. He was pissed that I got the TR instead of going straight to IVF.....

A Dr. should not be pushing anything on you that you don't want or can't afford.
Did you check with them if they have possible payment plans that you can do?
It is a hard decision sumarian but try to see if you can get a second opinion.
Or wait till you or your husband gets a job that will have an insurance that would cover infertility treatments.

Sumerian- what clinic out of Colorado?? Is it in Denver? I've been going to one there and I love them!! I also know others who've used them as well and had success. I know there office arranges a lot over the phone for out of town clients. Feel free to message me if you want any info. Good luck.... I do think its worth a second opinion too!

Sumerian-CCRM in Colorado is supposed to be amazing. I would try and get a second opinion from them. I'm in NC and I've heard of a lot of ladies going to see them. They are supposed to be one of the best in the states. Don't give up.

The name of the place that comes out of Colorado to Rapid City is called Rocky Mountain Fertility Center. They have locations in Parker and Castle Rock in CO and one on Rapid City, SD....

Not sure if its the same one you all are talking about.....

Sanford Hospital supposedly has some amazing reproductive endocrinologists. After talking with my hubby, I think we are going to seek at least one second opinion and it will likely be at Sanford to begin with. If the doc seems to be on the same page as my current one...I think I will check out the one based out of CO.

I am 100% positive that I have the proximal blockage esp after viewing some images and what not online and also reading what usually causes this type of blockage...So yeah I am 100% sure...

However, it could be the tubal spasm as well. I have had 2 surgeries on that side. I had an appendectomy in Jan of 2012 and then the TR reversal in Jan of 2013. The doc who did my TR said I had ALOT of adhesions and scar tissue on that side. He removed as much as he could at that time.

Im wondering if my current doc doesn't get a cut of $$ for all the patients he refers to this guy for IVF???? Seeing as hoe he has been pushing IVF with this particular doc since day one. Hmmmmm??????

Ladies how long after your trigger shot does your opk stay positive?.

Texas, it depends on how sensitive your HPTs are. I'd say at least 8-9dptrigger. But with one batch of tests I was seeing it out to 13dptrigger. Essemkay has described the half life drops several times, search back through her comments.

i knew pregnancy test would show it for a while, but i was worried when yesterday 4 days past trigger it was still positive. sigh it has only been 3 days since iui and i am going nuts.
