So Confused

Okay, today I went to a pregnancy center to get a free pregnancy test done. They just did a stir bought test mostly. She showed me the test 2 minutes later and didn’t give me a good chance to look at it. I thought I saw red showing on the second line. Here is the confusing part. She gave me some informational pamphlets about pregnancy and as I walked out and thanked her she said congratulations??? Like. Am I pregnant or not? She marked negative on my test sheet and verbally said it was negative. She also told me FMU is usually the best and to come in then to retest...Am I just being easily confused or not?
