Semen Analysis/Vacation/IUI

Semen is bad. Doc said the chances are super low. He wants me to take birth control pills before IUI. I have regular cycles, 28-30 days, and I do ovulate, so not fully understand why b/c but will talk to him again later. I have never taken b/c pills! I hope they won't give me too many side effects :/ Going on a vacation in less than 4 weeks, so we will wait until we are back to do IUI. Doing it in Sept or Oct , if lucky, we will get a June or July baby...
